Successful maiden flight of the Mini Skyhunter. I was surprised on how stable and efficient it flew. Maiden flight suddenly turned into a 1 hour endurance test.

Another super efficient plane. Good choice. In your airplanes the servos feed them from the becs of the f 405 or from a bec independent of the plate ??. What brand of liion batteries do you use?

Thanks! Yes I use the F405wing to power everything from servos to camera and VTX. But on my extended mini talon, I have a 5v separate bEC that powers the camera's pan and tilt servo.

Its a GreenPower brand li-ion. I bought it from seller of solar panels and stuff. Its quite good for long range cruising but it has a low C rating. Good enough for my cruising amp draw. That is why I use a bungee to launch my planes so as not to stress the batteries.

Thanks! Weather is sunny here at my part of the world. But becomes really hot at noon, then cloudy and windy in the afternoon. So i can only fly in the morning.
I'll be testing the Li-ion pack next time I go out with the MSH. I'll be trying to drain it down to 3V per cell and see hiw much distance it can cover before going long range. Stay tuned 😁
