This past weekend, I was invited to the Emerald City Comic-Con in Seattle to act as a BakuMaster! Players would win enough matches for an opportunity to play against me in the cage for exclusive limited edition Bakugan! I had some time to sit down with lead designer Justin Gary, to have him showcase his powerful mono Aquos deck!

Just an idea. Since some fans want to see more Bakugan content, you could have another channel which you can post on every now and then. I understand if it isn’t a good idea to you, but I felt I should suggest it.

@@samuel79676 Since he won the first tournament. Very rarely, though. In all honesty, this allows him to open himself to two different TCG's which can help develop some increased contrast to determine which is best for who.

can I just say I find it insanely interesting that as a design team, they made blue, aquos, the aggro deck archetype
master rule 5 sure changes the game a lot.
Almost makes me want to waste money on plastic balls and cardboard instead of just shiny cardboard

it officially released in january 1st
tho its not imported in my area so i cant guarantee its avaible wherever you are living. apparently its not everywhere

Would this be worth investing in? Looking back at the original sets of Yugioh/ Pokemon they're complete garbage but they're collectors items, anyone seeing these as viable money makers in the future?

Hey cimoooooo! I’ve been meaning to know a bit more of bakugan’s new game, when it comes to deck building, is it like Yu-Gi-Oh!? As in, would I have to buy 3 of the same bakugan to get the cards I need? Or how does it work?
The bakugan don't guarantee their evos with them, and you can get them just as efficiently in card packs from what I've seen. So if you have an idea for a deck you only have to get the three bakugan you want and then just buy card packs to build your deck and probably a few bakugan or big card packs to get the cores you want. The brawler cafe has a good buyers guide video explaining the pros and cons of every purchase. Hell, spinmaster said they would be working with TCGplayer so that will probably make deck building a lot easier.
If we want to get into the game what is the best way to go about doing it aka getting product
Idk what cimoooo's answer would be but maybe one-two starter packs or buy single bakugans then the cards you need

All evos? 3x3 hypers 3x3 titans and 3x3 Maximus would only bring it up to 27 it would still need 3x3 non existent aurelus diamonds and 4 more evos beyond Maximus.

Get a starter set, comes with 40 card playable deck, 3 backugan and all the cores. You can regularly find them on sale for 20 bucks, just picked up another one from target yesterday!

Honestly, this game is horribly designed. Aside from plagiarizing magic, it's very unbalanced. The aquas attribute (Clearly Gary's favorite) is insanely overpowered. Meanwhile, Pyrus is literally unplayable.
Pyrus has a lot of really strong cards and a few really good bakugan that have niche play styles (serpenteze ultra and dragonoid). Pyrus is unplayable in mono but it has great synergy with every other factions playstyle, with core removal (working with domination haos), energy destruction (ventus ramp and darkus control decks), high damage out put (literally every faction) and the fury deck build (aquos flow and darkus sacrifice). I definitely think it's too early to say whether or not it's unbalanced yet.
@@haosmagnaingram6992 The game is literally just plagiarizing magic. All 5 factions have the same play style as the corresponding color in magic. They had to get rid of subterranean because they were too lazy to think of an actual gameplay mechanic. Also, every color should be playable in mono. If mono pyrus isn't a possibility, something is wrong
Tomas Medina why is it necessary to be able to run mono if it is a power house that is extremely useful to other decks. Right now the best pyrus bakugan are specialized to certain decks while strong aquos bakugan (minus garganoid) are more balanced and aren't usually what gets built around. Also the only reason why pyrus can't go mono yet is because there aren't enough cards similar to might of cyndius yet to take advantage of the focus of the high attack stats and there aren't enough pyrus Bakugan with a high stat line that work to the same deck type out yet once one of these factors changes with the introduction of new cards and bakugan pyrus will likely be viable in mono. The reason aquos is viable in mono is because flooding waters, and a good pool of decent bakugan that don't need to be built around but also most powerful aquos bakugan currently out use shields allowing the team to work with a cohesive core type.
Anyways I still think it is way too early to make a verdict on the game being unbalanced.
As for the magic copying I don't know enough about magic to either agree or disagree.
@@haosmagnaingram6992 All I'm saying is that pyros needed more low cost b-power boosting cards.
Also, it would be fine if all 5 colors were too weak to build mono, but the problem is that some colors can be built in mono while others can't be.
As for things being too early, the second set dropped and the power divide has only gotten worse.
