The People's Liberation Army (PLA) is the armed wing of the Chinese Communist Party and the principal military force of the People's Republic of China. The PLA consists of five service branches: the Ground Force, Navy, Air Force, Rocket Force, and Strategic Support Force. It is under the leadership of the Central Military Commission with its chairman as commander-in-chief.
Today, the majority of military units around the country are assigned to one of five theater commands by geographical location. The PLA is the world's largest military force and has the second largest defense budget in the world. China's military expenditure was US$292 billion in 2022, accounting for 13 percent of the world's defense expenditures. It is also one of the fastest modernizing militaries in the world, and has been termed as a potential military superpower, with significant regional defense and rising global power projection capabilities.

Requirements for a successful invasion are numerous. One glaring deficiency the PLAN has is sea lift capacity. The most obvious successful parallel to the PLAN invading Taiwan is DDay. Very similar. As this video points out, the CCP has a total capacity of about 4% of what the Allies used on DDay. Look again at the LSTs as an example. The CCP has stated for 35 years they are about to attack. The Allies built over 1100 LSTs from June, 1942 to Jun, 1944. Similarly, the CCP has built 88 since 1955. Their largest program is fro 8 Type 075. Suspended at 3.M ore than half of all amphibious craft built are retired.
In order to exert mere air power over the Strait, the PLAF needs approximately 1 airbase less than 1 mile from the coast per 5 miles of coast facing Taiwan. Second tier needs 3x more, and third requires 5x more. The CCP has perhaps 4 airbases within 20 miles of the Strait. They do not have the aircraft to fill those. They do not have the infrastructure to carry out air ops over the Strait at an invasion level. They do not have the pilot instruction capacity to carry out current staffing needs.
Chinese persons and the CCP speak in contemporary terms. An invasion of Taiwan is a war, and as such requires what the nations of WWI had to accomplish.
The Wehrmacht increased 185x over the course of the Nazi leadership. 55% became casualties. The Soviet Red Army increased 22x over 10 years from 1935 to 1945. The US Army increased 88 times from 1935, to 1945. The PLA, with only 60 Generals and current staffing levels, and this list of mere equipment, the PLA has a less than 4% success rate if they invade Taiwan. The CCP needs to increase the PLA to 15 million men if they want to defend the Party and take Taiwan.

I was trying to find anything in their ground forces they didn't copy i think it was futile. Unfortunately for them they mostly copied Soviet/Russian crap and civilian US equipment. Neither are suitable for military deployment in a modern conflict.

Армия Китая ( НОАК ) уже давно не принимала участия в боевых действиях . И судить о её боеготовности и боевых качествах этой техники невозможно . Предпологаю , что НОАК ограниченно готова к боям . Поэтому НОАК не сможет расчитывать на качество подготовки , а только может расчитывать на превосходство в численности своих солдат и техники.

@justice5266 не соглашусь . Много смелых , отважных , но плохо подготовленных и без опыта уже погибло в Украине , Палестине , Сирии . Мой дед , воевавший во Вторую Мировую войну рассказывал - герои , трусы и дураки гибли первыми . Осторожные ( но не трусы ) , умные , быстро обучающиеся воевали долго и оставались в живых . Также говорил играло роль и везение . Кто то мог погибнуть от случайной пули , а кто то всю войну прошёл без ранений .
