Built in this same case. 4080 Super was able to fit with 360 AIO and three fans on the bottom. 1000W with a 120 fan on the back. 64GB DDR5 and 7800X3D. Massive build for a small case!
Nice one ☺
Be aware...if you want to mount an Arctic Liquid Freezer III rad (240 or 280) in the top, you will probably have some difficulties. The rad is too deep and hits the RAM (short RAM will not make any difference). Just about any other rad will fit. It you wish to mount it on the left, the LF III will fit as long as you mount the PSU on the right.
Yeah good point. I've just got the Arctic AIOs in so will mention those in case reviews going forward.
Very nice looks perfect for my next build, Fact I just bought it will arrive in a week. It was in stock and I got the wood version, thx for the video
Awesome! I have a video on the wood one if you want to see it compared. You're welcome
I hate the plastic retention clips they use for the side panels.
PLS put a 7900 xtx in it, preferably the nitro+, I have yet to see anyone do it
I've got a Tuf 7900XTX, but can do
Here is another amazing case from Lian Li, Looking forward to see thermals in the same, in first glimpse I felt its mini proArt a602 case(Close enough if it had mesh in the front.)
Yes it will be interesting! I had hoped to include them, but my test system needed so much changing and setting up to get the heat output the same, I ran out of time.
Nice little case and price. MATX support makes it shine even more for value.
Great overall package isn't it. Thanks for watching.
@@jordanash Are you really serious? Even in the video footage, the case looks mediocre at best.
The noises it makes when you touch it indicate that the material is of poor quality and low thickness.
And then to demand such moon prices is pretty brave of LianLi.
It's a good thing that I still have old Cube cases from LianLi with precise workmanship and good material thickness. They cost less than 80 dollars 18 years ago and still look like new today.
All in all, however, I wouldn't buy a LianLi today. They are no better than the much cheaper competition.
I'm just going off what I have here, I don't have cases from EIGHTEEN years ago so can't compare.
Take it easy, I don't mind constructive criticism but comments like "Are you really serious?" aren't helpful.
I think it's fine for less that seventy dollars. If you want something better built then you'll be paying for it. Also $80 of product 18 years ago isn't $80 now, things have got expensive so you need to take that into account.
@@jordanash My criticism is very constructive. You just don't like it.
For example, you quote a sales price of 70 dollars here, but when I call up your links, I have to pay at least 160 dollars.
I'll throw my LianLi V354B into the room for comparison. Just compare the materials used, the wall thickness and the weight of the product.
It may be legitimate to name the inflation, but... cheaper manufacturing processes, poorer material and even less of it should not lead to double the price, or am I wrong?
In this moderate manufacturing quality, which LianLi presents with the product you have presented, there are equivalent products from competitors at half the price.
The links will be updated when the products are available more widely and at the price quoted, I have no control over that. Amazon don't have it yet anyway, so that must be another case. Look at the OCUK link, for example, it is seventy dollars/pounds.
I've already said, I don't have old cases to compare to. I looked at a Mcprue case which was over $400, I know the difference in material thickness, I just think this is fair in 2024 for 69 dollars.
I expect they went cheaper materials to keep the cost down over a more expensive case, as a lot of people won't pay a lot of money for quality now. I'd pay more for a thicker build 🤷♂️
Edit - maybe they made it cheap to make a more premium pro or elite version later on
Where did you purchase the glass panel please?
It was sent with the case as a review sample, but Lian Li said on twitter it should be available from Newegg around September 13th.
How is this compared to the NR200P? Seems like a larger NR200P?
Never used one sorry
Where and how can I find a bracket for this housing?
It's hard to find stock at the moment as it's so new, but I will add in the description when available
If I buy a psu in America will it work in a different country with a different wall socket wattage?
Yes if it's in the supported voltage, most are auto switching nowadays. I'd recommend the correct kettle lead though.
@@jordanash you are so amazing! Have a great night
Haha thanks. Thank you, you too!
could anyone tell me if you can vertical mount a long gpu with the atx psu mounted beside the motherboard instead of the front? i couldn't find anyone that mentioned it in a video since everyone is just show casing with a sfx psu
I will personally try it in the morning and let you know.
@@jordanash ty in advance! nobody has done it and i rlly wanna reuse my psu since buying a new one would not fit my budget
I think you'll be fine but I'll check. What PSU and GPU would you be using?
@@jordanash a 150mm psu length a corsair tx750m and an asus tuf rx 7800 xt
would really appreciate if you could do it for me! i been looking for a matx case for so long that i can use with full sized gpu and the closest one i found was the sama IM01 but that was without liquid cooling then this case came out and i fell in love with the case xD
this or the asus ap201?
Good question. I really like the AP201, but this has more options which might make it easier for putting higher end parts in. It's also cheaper.
