For those who are saying zfc colour is better than the xt4. They are shooting zfc in raw and then editing the colours and jpegs on the xt4. So the difference is gonna be obvious. If they compared unedited raw files of both the cameras then it would be a fair comparison
I'm a newbie and I'm getting' more info that I can... so here my questions! How can you mount vintage lents on Nikon Zfc? some people has complaint about a small amount of lents for this camera so I don't understand, if you use the ol' lents it's cool! Can you shoot (with FUJIFILM) in raw+jpeg using the filter film, or you just need to shoot in jpeg? did you use post production on Nikon pics you showed us? thanks guys, it was fun watch this video!
ZFC outputs were Raw plus post editing. Not to mention Fuji shots used Kodak Portra Film Simulation which is basically a washed out stylish film stock look. If colors where not punchier then its because it was intentionally made to be that. Just a note. These photos can’t be used as comparison for both. You just can’t compare apples with oranges. 2 people with different style 2 different output looks (Kodak porta vs Punchier-ish style) 2 different files used (JPEG vs Raw) Not to mention… one is post edited whilst other is SOoC. Think about it again. Just saying.

Almost everything about those files is because.of the lens and how they were edited. Old Fuji trans censor definitely has a more film like/vintage look to it through standard glass.
@@samuraipizzacat2171using the old fuji camera bodies with a vintage lens is great because you don't care that the AF was a bit slow back then and the bodies are a bit (but not much...) cheaper. The down side is the evf and focus peaking wasn't amazing, but still good enough.
@@ZachMayfield I have the metabones speed booster for Fuji to Minolta and then put a screw to Minolta adapter on lenses like the Helios. I have many Minolta lenses to justify the metabones price tag. There are cheaper Chinese made speed booster that will give slightly inferior image quality but can be found for less than $100. You basically get a full frame image on a Fuji body!

The Fuji pictures are good but the Nikon Zfc photos are so pleasing and much better !! Considering the Z is way cheaper than the X-T4 it is really impressive !!
If I'm not mistaken the Fuji guy was shooting jpegs, the Nikon guy was shooting RAW and the editing it, so I'm not sure this is comparable. That being said, I've watched just the 1st half, so I might be wrong about that.

Just a fun day of shooting photos with your bro. I think the Z fc is interesting…it’s certainly a stolen concept from Fuji, but I’m happy Nikon has made the camera. I know if Canon ever made a mirrorless AE-1 I would lose my mind and buy it. So I’m sure Nikon users are head over heels! I just switched my entire APS-C system over to Fuji and am very happy with the fun shooting experience and images - what more can I ask for?
@@n1ngnuo I don’t see anywhere in my comment where I say they stole the design? Just the design concept of Fuji and Olympus’ retro modern strategy with dials and classic styling - something they didn’t originate, but have marketed well. Nikon absolutely should be doing this, as I believe the $500-1500 segment needs more to attract buyers from another brand, as lenses aren’t as important for that segment versus an invested professional. Also making them an appealing design makes me want it, while a z50 I couldn’t care less about.
Nikron or Frooji and why?

hi Zach. The fuji is famous for their film look presets, in camera. Did you need edit to get that creamy look on the ZFC? Im in doubt which to buy.
As much as I love Fuji ..... gotta admit those ZFC files were gorgeous ...... how was the manual focusing on the Nikon? Great Vid!
dependent on the lens, but most z lenses have good manual focus rings
Where did you get those glasses with a built-in camera? Amazing
Vintages lens is gold, work good for cheap old dslr for beginer
