I was at the spring game. If I didn’t know better, there is no way you could convince me he was an early enrollee Freshman. So composed, accurate, and easily flips the ball 45 yards into a sprinting receiver’s hands. The potential is there, excited to see how it plays out this fall. GBR!!

This is honestly a 50/50 game. Nebraska has a good defense and Colorado has a good offense. It really depends on if Nebraska takes bigger strides on offense or if Colorado did on defense.

I did happen to go the Univ of Nebraska so, yes, I'm a Cornhusker, but I enjoy your perspectives on other college programs and conferences, as well. Fingers crossed the Huskers can come up with 5 - 6 wins this year! Haarberg needs a taysom hill type of roll. I think he could do it all
JD, only got halfway thru the video, but they are NOT going to ask Raiola to do the same things they have been asking their QB’s to do. They will not ask him to run options or zone read. He will hand off, or pitch outside, he will drop back and do play action. They will protect him as best they can and run the ball enough to make the play action work.
As for predictions…. He will get stung against the Buckeyes will will be prepared to give the next 4 opponents a better prepared QB to face. Nebraska does not need him to be an Air Raid QB

After seeing several practices and the Spring Show......there is things that Dylan is doing that will blow your mind....even though they were VERY VANILLA on Saturday.....all I will add is this simple statement....this fall a lot of eyes will be opened ..... and when JD says we're going to be a pain for the rest of the Conference....he ain't a lying !

A top 10-15 defence, deep WR group and healthy RBs. It could be something special.
And the managing the game part is going to be a lot easier for a younger player with the headset in play. Talent can outrank experience when the coach is in your ear every play.

No surprise, nebraska QBs should be excited about those targets. I think Dylan alone had 10 different guys with a catch.
It's hard for defenses to cover everyone all the time.
His first 15 completions went to:
Fidone, Lloyd, Boerkircher, Bonner, Hall, Dowdell, Bullock, Bell (I believe, the stat sheet says Cameron Lenhardt but he's defense, Bell was wearing #11 on offense), Neyor, Echternach, Flynt, Barney and Mazzcua. Lloyd and Bullock had 2 each, that's 15 total completions to 13 dudes.
Ya, it's hard to tell they rotated the QBs. But that is a good way to do it. Lots of targets. My biggest surprise was the young TEs, Nate a Fadoni are elite. But Echternach, Flores, and Flynt making plays. Thoes guys are going to be huskers for a long time.

You discount the defense too much. Top 3 conference defense easy. All raiola needs to do is take care of the ball and guide the offense to 27 a game, and this team will be in the conference title game. He will surpass what is asked of him.
You make the correlation of #15 to the mahomes aspect. I see 15 and think Frazier
2 qbs who are complete opposites..Dylan definitely is not Frazier but resembles Mahomes.

That is true, but from what he has said, and the family legacy and love of the program, only time will tell, but I would be willing to wager that he will spend his college career at Nebraska.

Kid has a cannon for an arm for sure. Wouldn't put any stock in anything other than that. Most of the top defensive players were out and they had guys in the secondary that were walk ons and non B10 caliber players. He had a ton of one read throws against off coverage which we know isn't how college football works. See what happens when the pocket isn't clean and he's playing against top tier B10 defenses and D coordinators. Talent is there.
Which players were non Big 10 caliber players? Name them.
@@CivilizedSavage Gifford, Singleton and Hill didn't play. Neither did Robinson, Nash, Butler or Princewill. Quality depth at Nebraska drops off in a hurry behind the starters.

Zero chance they average 175 on the ground without 3 rushing QBs. If it is Dylan starting, we lose 75 per game on average. That’s just my call. Hope I’m wrong though!

The ability to CONSISTENTLY throw downfield is what Nebraska is hoping will open the run game. I know, Haarberg threw nice passes to Malachi Coleman against Northwestern and Jaylen Lloyd against Purdue, but those were exceptions, not the rule. Rewatch the Michigan State game. Haarberg had guys running wide open all over the field in the first half, and he not only missed them, he actually threw at least two of them so horribly, they hit Michigan State defenders who had blown their coverage. Chubba Purdy had multiple guys open against Iowa on the last offensive play of the game, and literally chose to throw it right at a linebacker instead. Scott Frost assembled a team of the dumbest f***ing quarterbacks he could find.
