Hill does not know all the facts, he’s not in the car. My opinion of D Hill is now at the same level as JV. Not credible.
Wothout Lauda Toto is making lousy decisions. Russell was a flop as we can see him squander wins, were told he was going to replace Hamilton but all of a sudden Toto is coercing Max. Russell is not championship material. I believe Toto will flop again when its time to replace Lewis.
One could and do say all sorts but one has to listen to the drivers and you can choose your favourite driver based on what they say or their performance.
Hill will favour Russell because he is staying on at Mercedes who made it clear , that they want Max and Kimi and very little said towards Russell.....one very promising Italian and one unreliable English driver who can't cope understand pressure....I know who i would choose......Max and Kimi would be a strong driver lineup
Damon Hill is arguably one of the greats of the sport but we shall not forget that he is catering for the British audience. Surely Russell's days at Mercedes are numbered and he knows it. When your boss is throwing a 150 million dollar offer Max's way, while strong-arming the FIA into canning the "Verstappen Rule" to get his "Wunderkind" into F1 asap, then your frontal lobe doesn't have to be wired like that of a rocket scientist to figure out that you're no longer "the future of Mercedes F1".
