Great, thank you! I’m also wondering if it’s possible to model a car parking into an angled spot to pick up a passenger, then backing up to leave the spot. Seems like passenger pick ups and drop offs require a public transport stop, while backing up requires a parking spot… can these functionalities be somehow combined?
Hi, great question. I don't think it is possible, or at least I cannot find a way to do it. It might be because they don't know yet where the door is gonna be? Since Vissim uses a distribution for boarding location. And that depends on the 3d model of the bus? Might be worth reaching out to PTV regarding this, but I doubt it is possible.
@@eunjinbluevoice yes I think you can draw a long and narrow waiting area, and if you make the pedestrian route cross that strip of waiting area, the pedestrians will form a line there. See the “Platform Queueing” example in the Public Transport folder
Awesome. More Vissim videos please!
Thanks a lot. If you have suggestions for new vids feel free to add them here

@@glademaster It is possible and relatively easy with the new versions. I make one in the coming days for that, that is relatively simple
hello, is it possible to create a straight line/queue of pedestrians while they wait for the bus to arrive?
