I can tell he's a fixed wing guy. Totally focused on the altimeter and vertical speed indicator rather than looking around, lol.

    Gorgeous views! 😺
Quiet music, not too loud or noisy.
I flew once, with a champion pilot in Ceroux-Mousti in Brabant in 2009.

I'd give anything to afford flight school and a balloon. This video has everything. Smart people, a beautiful aerial vehicle, 90's educational film music..

Get to do this every day (weather dependent) for a living. Almost 30 years now. Nothing like it.

I wish I had the time and the finances to get this rating and purchase my very own hot air balloon. For now I think I'll stick to airplanes! Very well done

    Hello!
How many cubic meters is that babe?
I am looking for blueprints to make a tissue paper hot air balloon.
But the envelope’s gotta be bulbous!
Preferably between 7 to 15 gores, 10 is ideal.
Any clue where I could find one?
Similar to the Viva of Cameron +-
    Cheers!
    Greetings from Brussels 🇧🇪 Belgium.

As a commercially licensed pilot myself, I'm surprised to see a commercial balloon pilot & instructor not requiring his student to wear gloves. In ballooning gloves are a foundational item. You can see the rest of the crew wearing them, and the pilot, but not the student. Plus, there doesn't seem to be a lot of Instructing going on.

flying a hot air balloon is probably way more difficult than any other forms of aviation because it's highly dependent on nature such as the wind and wind is very unpredictable with the currently technology we have.
