AKAY has ink-stains inside all his pockets. KLISTERPETER grins as deer heads peek out from traffic signs and hybrid animal-stencils make their homes in concrete corners. AKAY is convinced all found wood/ metal/material can be transported by bike to and from any point in the city.
KLISTERPETER refuses to wear long underwear when putting his art on the streets in the middle of swedish winter nights.
Both AKAY and KLISTERPETER has a past in the graffiti culture but begun to fool around with new methods to use the public space to do their art projects in the mid 90s.
2003 they combined their creative efforts and obsessions and started to do more interactive works, often found in the gaps of the city, unused areas where they can be left alone. Nowadays they mostly work
on site specific installations, movies and photos in abandoned office buildings in stockholm.
