Dang. I can't tell if Neil dying is good for him or not. On one hand, he's with his big brother again and he doesn't have to live his life traumatized by what he saw his adopted sister do, even though he knew she didn't mean to do what she did, and even though he knew she wasn't in her right mind. On the other hand, his parents lost another child, he died unfairly, and his death will always haunt his sister. At the very least those villager girls deaths made sense as they were tormenting her. But, yeah.
*Purely my plot fantasy after watching episode 2 (I couldn't sleep for a while last night, I got really caught up in the fantasy.):* *Spoiler: don't reveal the comment and don't read it if you don't want to, there's a chance my fantasy will actually cross over into the plot.* _What if, at some point, Evanore ran back to her brother and threatened her parents to step back? They would, under their sense of fear, be frightened and move away from Neil a little. At this point, Evanore, overcoming the demon's strange inner control through his love for his brother, will do a strange magical ritual that will hasten Neil's recovery._ _After the ritual is over, in tears she once again tries to ask her parents to forgive her, quickly tells them to take care of her brother and leaves in search of her origin._ _After a while, Neil, who has been brought home by his parents, finally comes to his senses and feels quite well. But soon, he begins to notice strange things about himself that have never been seen before: physical strength at first, and later strange flashes from his hands, at some point it dawned on him that it looks like magic. At that moment, he is horrified to understand what is going on.
