I need to be honest Kale, i'm not the biggest fan of this. I think this is the weakest arrange so far, and I only mean that with the intent criticism and absolutely no disrespect towards the musician. The biggest problem is probably the audio mixing here- there's just no substantial bass. The highs are way too high and tinny. Overall it sounds empty- pay attention to the effects that you're using. I also don't think the staccato in the intro fits well for this song, but that's just me.
Can't wait to see your improvement for the PoDD arranges if you're on that project :) Keep at it.

This makes me resize how simplified ZUN's composing style has become since WBaWC. the songs rarely ever have true chord progression, and the main is a silly wind instrument, a basic synth, or the classic ZUNpet. To me It just seems like ZUN is trying to be very modern

I mean. WBaWC still had one of the best stage 6 themes/boss theme combos of all time, in my opinion at least.
