This is also a great way to locate a component using it's parent assy geometry and then use a skeleton CSYS to actually locate the component later.

This is great. I don't believe that I have ever tried this because I assumed that the new CSYS would just jump. Maybe it used jump? ...What year/which Creo version was this 'trick' available? Thanks again for the huge time savings in assemblies!

I know for certain I was using it in Creo 4, but I think I was using it way back in Wildfire. I still have Wildfire 5.0 on my computer (earliest Windows 10 version available). Maybe one day I’ll fire it up and see.

@@CADPLMGuy I started on Creo 3, went to Creo 4, and am now on Creo 8. ...I hope this is something that was not available in Creo 3 and that I never got told about otherwise on the updates. In other words, I hope that I haven't been doing it the hard way for YEARS because my memory blows. :/ ...I'm glad that I questioned it for once, and more importantly that you have the instructions available. Thank you!

Hi I used NX software why we can not make coordinate system like NX.
    Please make video.

NX and Creo are made by different software companies. These companies have different product managers and different software engineers, so they write software that does stuff differently than each other. You will often see differences between how things work in software from different companies. For example, SAP works differently than Oracle. iMovie works differently than Final Cut. WordPad works differently than NotePad. If you found two software packages from two different companies that worked identically to each other, you're probably looking at a lawsuit.
If you purchase a license of NX for me, I will start making videos on it.

You typically hire a manufacturing specialist to do that for you.
