Hey Ara, what about the quarterly bonus? Should we take that? I will be getting my $300k live account on Wednesday, but I was thinking about whether I should take that quarterly bonus if you're profitable in the account 5-10% 2 out of 4 months. Are there any withdrawal stipulations if you take it?
I dont know what that is man I haven't even had my first payout yet with MFF I am still on my first live month with them.
How much risk do u apply per trade
what's your normal risk management consist of ? like do u base the risk on the trade R:R or do you strictly just have a set % u use every trade ?
Always a fixed % regardless of the trade.
Do you always swing with HTF when trading propfirms? Seeing you used the 15m here
I try not to label myself as a swing trader or day trader. I trade opportunities as they come. Lowest I go is the 5m timeframe.
how are you handeling the MFF closing down did you get another firm to work for or did you diversify ?
I'm working on other challenges right now but as always I'm trading my personal capital.

What 2 pips rule are you referring to?
@@AraKerbabian I saw it somewhere that one cannot place stop loss lower than 2 pips away from current price. I don't know how true it is. If it is. I wonder if it holds for limit orders too

Got any advice for me? I dont feel ready for a prop firm but i keep having huge win streaks which kinda tells me i am... for example, today on my paper account i could have passed MFF phase 1 in a few hours.
Should i wait until im 100% confident OR should i buy their lowest model for whatever it is... $49? And see how i do since thats basically one meal out 😅
buy the lowest model for starting
Try doing FTMO free trials first. I'd suggest passing 3-4 of them consistently before considering purchasing a real challenge from a prop firm.

So me sharing what I use means I'm trying to sell you something? That was not the point of this video... if you don't like it don't watch.
What was your lot size? For passing phase 1
It's different for every trade.. having a fixed lot size would be very inefficient. I calculate lot size based on my stop loss which is different from trade to trade. I use 0.5% risk per trade.

I typically only risk 0.5% capital per trade. And yes MFF allows overnight and over weekend holds.

They emailed me the live account info the same day that I passed phase 2
But you also need to meet minimum trading days. Which is 5
