Sounds beautiful! I’m gonna be buying this for sure. I have the Orangewood Brooklyn Live, and this will make it sound so much better through my Helix! Thanks so much for this!
Thanks! Yeah I'd like to go back and update the older packs with it. These take a good bit of time to fully make, though, so I'm not exactly sure when I'll be able to finish it up.
The anthem has way more lovely sound than shown here. I think it was unprocessed to show the pure pickup. With a little love it sounds great on its own. With IRs the strumming tone in natural is amazing. Only finger style, I still prefer the Anthem on its own.
They sound great and I want to get a few of your IRs...but i've no clue how you activate them. I've downloaded the free TLR 414 but how do I even load it up on say Mainstage? Are there step-by-step instructions? I have a Composite Acoustic Cargo which is a carbon fibre travel guitar.
Can you speak a little more about how to use with strymon bigsky or roland fx floor stomp. If its possible to use those into with reg speakers no sound board. Thank you!
Technically it will, yes. But we did not make these specifically for those types of systems, so the results might vary. You could try out the free acoustic IR pack and give it a shot.
@20weststudio I literally just tried this with the free pack last night for my PRS SE HBII Piezo and they sounded great... I've also tried them with my Taylor 714... the EXP works great for that... I just flipped around the various piezo versions for my PRS until I found one that i liked the best👌
I'm curious how capable these IRs are at making a super cheap guitar sound good. I got an Orangewood Mahogany Rey used for $80 and slapped a k&k pure mini in it. Sounds absolutely dreadful on it's own but I've achieved great results with the tilt eq on the hx stomp
In the video I showed how these sound on a wide variety of guitars, including a cheap Orangewood (that sounds really bad plugged in on its own). There are time stamps if you want to jump to specific sections.
I have a hard time with the acoustic IRs in my QC. Even using the new IR loader I have to crank the gain all the way to 12db. Any advice on how to best using these with the QC. I have the Holy Grail and Dread 35 IR packs right now.
Acoustic IR's are by nature much quieter than electric guitar cab IR's, so you'll need to increase level by up to 16+ dB - that is normal for acoustic IR's. Once you do that and get them at unity, are you still having trouble with them? I haven't specifically tested these in QC yet, but the same applies for any other modeler I've tried.
Love your IR's, I have the Holy Grail, Taylor 414 packs using them with the HX Stomp, Just curious where do you usually end up running your IR Mix at. I found the sweet spot at 50% on my setup. Thanks
Should be no problem. Most units that load IRs all require .wav files. Kind of seems to be standard. Grab our free pack first to see how it works for you tho!
Is there a simple IR pedal you would recommend that could be used as a replacement for a DI with my acoustic, if I'm not wanting to use more expensive options like the HX stuff?
Thanks so much for making these irs. Would be amazing if you could actually show us how it sounds on stage with the ir and without. That would help on deciding thanks so much! Love the vids
Thanks! This video was almost exclusively showing the direct sound of the guitar with and without IR's, so in a live environment that is what you can expect to hear. Of course every room and PA system will sound very different, so it would be kind of impossible to show that off in a way that would translate to a wide variety of settings.
@@worshiptutorials even if it was with direct input recording I think it be super helpful to hear how the ir helps in context! Love the work that you all do an super thankful yall exist in youtube!
Psychological effects of the color-grade swap made the IR sound at least 10% better. 🤣 Would’ve loved to hear a piezo/mic blend on the Anthem’s direct out as compared to the IR kicked in!
good lord don't start on the fishman pickups, they r terrible. I'm having a very bad experience with fishman pick ups. i saved up and got one entry level martin thinking the tone quality would improve for worship just to realize the pickup suck . at this Point i feel scammed. will this IR work in a more affordable processors like zoom g3xn?
We've included options specifically for multiple different types of pickups including Piezo pickups and the Taylor Expression System. So while a higher end pickup like the Anthem will ultimately yield better results, these IR's are not created only for the Anthem system.
love it. been waiting for an IR that'll pair perfectly with my OMJM

On 3:55 in which the iR is off sounds really perfect on my ears than it was after turned on,
Sounded great! Especially the stereo pair demo. Do you plan to add that to the 414 IR Pack in the future?

Of your IR packs, this OOO28 pack and the Holy Grail are def my favorite.
Albeit, I’m biased because I love the OOO and OM sound haha

Good morning, When I play it sounds really low i.e. I cannot hear very well. How can I get it to sounds louder?

How (or, can) I use these in a DAW to improve recorded acoustic tracks? Not live.
What type of pickup is recommended for use with IRs? I have a LR bags m1 but it's magnetic which I've heard isn't ideal
is it possible to get it for Tonex?
Will this work for an electric guitar with a Piezo like the PRS Hollowbody II?
Technically it will, yes. But we did not make these specifically for those types of systems, so the results might vary. You could try out the free acoustic IR pack and give it a shot.

Will this work with old piezo system in taylors?
Aww man, I really want to try the stereo IR setup. I just can’t afford the pack right now.

Will the dual IR stereo setup work with the WT Hx-Stomp acoustic preset if I just plug in the two x/Y IR's and pan them left and right?
Yeah that's the way to do it.
Do they work on my torpedo cab m+?
Yeah they should just fine!
I bought your IR Acoustic pack and I am not really happy because they sound much quieter than my other IRs. Why is that?
I am using them via TC Electronic Impulse IR Loader.
I have a hard time with the acoustic IRs in my QC. Even using the new IR loader I have to crank the gain all the way to 12db. Any advice on how to best using these with the QC. I have the Holy Grail and Dread 35 IR packs right now.

Yeah the Mooer Radar and the TC Electronic Impulse are two good options.
What format should I use for electronic tc ir? 44k 200ms, 48k 200ms or 96k 200ms?
What thickness is the pick you use? I prefer a thinner pick on acoustic. These IR’ssound great! Just a little thick sounding for my taste though
I use a .88mm pick on acoustic. I like thicker picks for acoustic. Not too thick, though, ha.
What strings do you use on the D35? I've been using elixer 12-56 med. Light.
I've been using the D'Addario XS strings on everything - electric and acoustic. I really like them. I use 12's (light) on acoustic.
Ok. I need to know. Curiosity is killing me. What kind of MIC is that?
On the guitar in the beginning? It’s a Telefunken TF51
@@worshiptutorials AH AHA! I THOUGHT SO! thanks I can sleep tonight now;)

As long as it can load a WAV IR you should be good. You can always download our free IR pack and try it out 👍🏻

Yay
