These older vans from GM , Chrysler and Ford were better mechanically compared to the new generation of vans ( European design ) . The ride was also smoother with these older vans .
People in suits are the biggest criminals...maybe not in this case but an $8000 vehicle new then was about $1000 in materials to produce and 3 or 4 years later your driving around in a rust bucket that your still making payments on that's how new at the time American cars were in the early mid 80s
Did anybody see the cyclist stuck to the back bumper. Man that van creamed him good that'll teach that paperboy from riding in front of traffic again. Good for them.
I find it amazing that American vehicles gets so little power from such huge engines. The fuel this country has wasted over the years is truly mind blowing.
I had a 1978 C30. Those square "cupholders" at 11:04 on the engine doghouse/console are the correct size for a 750ml bottle of Jack Daniels........🤣

18:26 Love the camper shell, really complements the vehicle.
Nothing makes me feel more confident than a suit wearing engineer.

And looked similar in 1995 as well.. and 1971.
That 305 was miserable in a G20 van, Dad pulled it and put in a 400..
I did the same thing the 400 made that van fast as hell today they don’t make vans like that today w have JUNK
I had an 83 with that engine. It moved very well. I later put a 400 hp 350 Vortec in it.
The Tron computer graphics and sounds. LOL! The El Caminos and vans were the good ones from GM.
I'd like to see the 30mph barrier crash...
Mr. T approves

Such was the price to be paid for clean air. At least torque ratings were decent, and that's really what matters if you're not on a racetrack.
I have absolutely no friends but I'd like the one with the bed or 3 row for 12 people that I'd never have at least then bed I could sob alone
Holy shit DeSantis has aged well.
Of course! Much Wiser and the Best Governor of America!😄😉
Me gustan las camionetas
CB unit brah
Back when people built cars😢😢
Aren't these still being made?
aint no way you said that
No, the Chevy Express vans are substantially different from the original Chevy Van.
It's Ron DeSantis
Low in drag? Are you s****n me? These things are bricks on wheels.
shitting isnt a violation
If you put a higher horsepower V8 in those vans they'll get 17 miles per gallon in a one-ton. In stock trim they'll get 11
Put that bicycle tire out back brah 😐
Until the valve seals fail and it starts puffing Blue smoke😂😂
Dude sounds drunk.
