If that's supposed to be a Dutch accent, I am the pope. Friends is a funny show, but it's really sad how bad the creators did their homework on the Dutch, at matched casting, given the amount of times they tried to include Dutch characters in the series.
Joey confused the Netherlands🇧🇶 with Neverland. Both words sound phonetically close: "Ne-ther-lands" and "Ne-ver-land". If he said "Neverland" instead of "the Netherlands", his response would have been correct. In other words, he gave a correct description to the wrong location
This isn’t the only time that Friends failed to cast a real Dutch person. So lazy! And like others say, Joey pronounced her name much better than she did herself.
