That is why KDB's flashback last year was still his mid 30s player model last year. That is also why Messi's flashback in FIFA 23 was his mid 30s player model and not one with the long hair. You might want to check back in on this stuff and get back to me. They have only a few icons that have multiple player models/faces in game. They do not do it for the flashbacks.
That last game, it's the attacking level that causes it. It makes your team more aggressive, and if you are facing it, you feel like you can't do anything as they close you down so fast.
Yeah when the opponent goes full red attack level you must go one blue defence or even two blue defence in the last minutes and be solid behind and hit on the counter attack. Pick didn't go blue defence and was too open behind.

The passes not going where you are aiming is a common issue in pefootball, if the rival has a lot of new epics prepare yourself for that and if the rival has gp players prepare for auto defending.
