In this third episode we´ll move forward with what we learnt from the foot analyze (ep 1) and knowledge about different types of ski boots (ep 2). The Freeride World Tour Champion of 2012 and former swedish alpine ski team rider Christine Hargin will be action "foot modell" and she will get a new pair of boots that our boot-guru Henrik will pick out for her. In episode four and five easier adapting of these boots will continue with a custom footbed (ep 4) and baking the boots
and liners in the owen (ep 5). In episode 6 there will be some straight BOOT FITTING with grindning, punching out and the more serious stuff!

Great video! Very intrigued about the three different toe shapes you showed on a diagram. Greek vs Egyptian… can you explain what type of toe box is standard. I’d love to learn more about this aspect of boot fitting. Thanks!!!
What about heel to instep perimeter, does that play a role in the size if larger than the foot length (measuring from heel cup corner to heel cup corner) while foot is in the Brannock?
Hi, hopefully you will see this question; can you explain the formula you used to decide on the shell size? loaded size - relaxed size = shell size? i have a 26 - 26.5 (305mm) nordica speedmachine 130 carbon. also, how tight on the buckle should a proper fit be tightened? Mine felt good today, but i think i had them as buckled as tight as they can go.
hello
She has some sever bunions. What did you call that? It sounded like you said house vogues
Its called hallux valgus
Bunions and hallux valgus are subtly different. The bump you see with HV is always caused by deviation of the big toe - towards the other toes.
Bunion however is a term that can be used used to describe any bump on the big toe joint - but commonly one that may result in some loss of motion. A bunion might be caused by HV but it might not. In my case I have a bunion caused by bone overgrowth after a football injury to that area - but my big toe is still correctly aligned. I don't have HV but I do have a bunion.
Hope that made sense!
how do i find a freestyle boot that isn't stupid expensive
You get a better job.
@[R E D A C T E D] im not the type of person to want the latest and greatest I just want a good site that will sell me some used full tilt boots or something
Go to a shop and get boots that are fitted to your feet. You could have the same boots for 15+ years if you buy good quality boots. Don't get full tilts just because they sponsor a lot of park skiers.
@@AndrewSkalak too late i’ve been saving up since then and got full tilt kickers
@@drewcook7826 how do they feel and did you order them online? I’m in the market and can’t seem to find any info about the fitting. I’m nervous to order online but I might pull trig and deal w the repercussions later. Just wanted some info if you had any thanks bud.
how she did those bumps ? i ice skating for 15 years on top stiff ice skates and don't have anything like this :)
She was wearing the tight boots all day long
They are bunions which are a foot deformity that can be hereditary and also be exasperated by tight ill-fitting shoes
