very moving. Bless you Matthew, you will grow up to be every bit of a man that your Father was in life... You & your family will always be remembered and prayed for...
❤😭 Still miss my Dad. Passed away suddenly here in Scotland October 1980. I couldn't accept his death (he was my hero and best friend) I drank for years after and it became a big problem.. Now I'm 21 years continuously sober and 71 yrs old. I know he will be proud of me. This rendition is beautiful. Mathew will be a grown man by now. ❤️🏴😭
It does bring tears to your eyes. You have good reason to be proud of Matt, a fine son. He is destin to do well in life and I know your (and Kristen's) influence will assist him him making good and sound decisions the rest of his life. I have watch the duet of this song with you and him many times and has moved me each time. He has a great sining voice.
Great job Matthew! With voices like yours I know the RHS Choral program will continue to be strong for years to come! -Tom Conway (father of Eric and Luke Conway)
Does anyone know if Matthew went to West Point? And how he is doing. He must be nearing 30 by now. The Webers are such a wonderful family, and the US is blessed by those like them.
😫🎶🙋♀️ My heart is broken as I found your story! And inspired, as my life has had its own "unfair" tragedies and losses! God bless, fortify, strengthen, console you even these years later, because I know the missing and longing keeps recycling and bringing the grief back up. I've just ordered the book and look forward to gleaning more of your father's and family's story! 🙋♀️🎶🌦🌿🌠🕯👑🔥💫🍃👊
Unfortunately, Matthew, you and so many of the young have lost their beloved fathers, from war and deadly illnesses. My paternal grandfather died at 39 of a staph infection. In those days, with no antibiotics, staph meant death. My Dad became the breadwinner at 13, not unusual then. He kept working and going to school nights. He came of age in the Great Depression. He took the test for the FBI at about 33, and achieved a 97%! He was accepted. I am glad you had a bit more time with your dad. I hope your mother and the twins are doing well. I think you went to West Point and are well into your career. You will surely be very successful, and happy. Just remember that even if you have your dream job, there will always be something about it you don’t like. Or someone who is negative or confrontational. That’s just life. I wish you the greatest joy, and am so happy of knowing your dad’s philosophy and practical advice to you all. God bless and keep you always. Brenda D. Shanley
His necklace? People like you make it so hard to love as Jesus loves. The kid lost his dad and you need him to know that you are bothered by his jewelry. You’re unbelievable.

Like father, like son. Beautiful. Inside and out.

Beautiful! Absolutely beautiful! 10 years later and this sentimental song still makes me weep. “I love you dad! We will meet again!”

Very nice voice. Necklace was distracting though.
Are you insane? I didn't even notice a necklace. You seek fault in people dude.
This didn't need your criticism, you're missing the point. Geez! 🤦♀️😫
