Isn't it nice having a change from sanding ;) Your face when you had those pipes on your arms and suddenly thinking to yourself 'I wonder if I look a bit of a wazzock?' was a treat :D
My brother, who's a sheet metal HVAC guy, made me some large funnels that I mounted wherever the sawdust shoots out from the blade for each machine. Then a tee goes on the suction tube and one goes to the saw and the other to the funnel, works great. Excellent video.
I was watching you the other day and told myself I could not do what you’re doing because I have so many tree allergies. I love your channel and videos. So excited for you and the new house. ♥️
Have mercy when you first started talking I just couldn't take my eyes off of the doors behind you no one but GOD could make such beautiful markings in the wood grain I'm blown away by their natural patterns and that new vac system I can't think of any thing that can't pick up from the looks of it I do believe that baby has power lol
I've got the same system ,The shoot you've got mounted on the wall ,I have flat on the floor and use it as a sweeping Port . Turn on the system and sweep into the chute , the insert blocks chunks
Hi you two... LOL..Jeremy, when you turned that on...... your reaction was everything... } "Ooooo..." The new equipment comes with a lot of nice THINGY'S, I have to say, that is some pretty cool equipment for sure. No more allergic reactions to pine dust either. Take care you two..... have a great weekend
You need to support the bag with a table shelf or lower the blower so the bag is on the ground. It will get extremely heavy when it is full of saw dust and stress your lag screws.
I added a rubber flap behind the blade which helps direct the dust into the collector. I also built a box behind and added a shop vac. You're not alone as with most collection systems, they can't capture dust very well from a miter saw. Look at your video and I'm sure you'll see most of the dust going right past the collector and all over from there. A rubber deflector and catch box will solve that perfectly. It's a nice system just needs help for the miter saw. Great content as always - stay safe. House is looking very nice!
Your next addition should be a Fosmon C-10683 Wireless Remote Control Outdoor Electrical Outlet (Amazon, $13.) Plug the dust colledtion into the "outlet" and carry the remote arouind the shop with you. Also, since you're relatively new to this area, you might not know about the Klingspor Woorworking Shop in Hickory.
Congrats on getting into dust collection. I have a larger freestanding laguna pflux 1.5hp dust collector and cyclone (with hepa filter). One of the other things you should definitely look into is additional freestanding fan/filters to help pull out all the airborne dust. I have used and highly recommend those 20" box fans with 2" thick hepa filters that the fans pull the air through. I have one of those fancy dylos air quality meters and that shows two of the box fan/filter setups really keeps my garage dust down for the small particles.
Hey, I've been following your channel for maybe over half a year and I very much enjoy the content. I dont want my comment to appear negative! I just learned about doors when leaned against a wall vertically WILL bow over time (days depending on construction). I don't know if they were just put there temporarily or just in between the process of moving them but I'd hate to see your very beautiful work bowed like I seen in another youtube video. Keep up the great content!
I've been shopping at Northern from near their inception, If I recall, it started as Northern tools and Hydraulics. Unfortunately there isn't a store near me since I moved so I do occasionally online shop and when I'm near a store, I will go there.
you might want a (i think its called a cyclone not sure but) its basically a plastic lid for a garbage pail that has a in port and out port on it that you plug in you big hose to it and then another hose out to your tool for using anything bigger then sanding dust otherwise you'll be emptying the bag often. especially if using a planer. it allows the bigger stuff to dump itself in the barrel before having to travel through the longer hose and fill up your bag quickly. it also doesn't seem to reduce power of the collector as much as if you make it suck the shavings all the way to the bag. its not expensive like under $20 and fits most round garbage barrels. another must have In my opinion is a spare bag and anything you can use as a plug for the bag. i found that often times when you least expect it and need the dust collector the most is when a hole decides to appear in the bag then filling up the air with blowing dust. now the cap is anything that fits in the opening if the bag. i made mine out of wood. i like to plug the bag when going to empty it outside so if i set it down to open the door or bump or drop it the fine dust doesn't come out
Why didn't you use the extra light to brighten up the corner by the wiring panel? You could even put it on that wall instead of the side wall with those wire harnesses.
It's not supposed to be fully filled. @11:20 ish.... he mentions this. Only about half full max. Dust isn't that heavy either, saw dust or otherwise unless wet.
Nice new tool...
Have a good evening🌻🌻🌻
I have purchased several tools from Northern. It has always been a good experience.
That is a happy man with his new tool!!!!!
Another cool tool to increase productivity, safety and health! You go Jeremy! Love your toys 💕

That system adresses all the hookups a guy would need !!! The newer style led's for shop lighting are outstanding !!!
I've got the same system ,The shoot you've got mounted on the wall ,I have flat on the floor and use it as a sweeping Port . Turn on the system and sweep into the chute , the insert blocks chunks
Great idea 👍🏻
Love that new toy! Organizers an shelving
That's terrific! So happy to see you get something like that. It is most definitely needed right about now.
Just put a few of these lights up in my garage work space. They work great

Those doors are absolutely beautiful they’re an absolute feature just by themselves
Another Great video.... watching from Ndola Zambia 🇿🇲🇿🇲...
Awesome tool!

Yes the miter saw is the most difficult. I’ll definitely make some mods.
There’s a hood you can get that works great with what you have
up grade this vac , run hose thru a 55 gallon drum first , as the fine dust exiting the bag will get to you

Liked and Subscribed for the firearm. Good stuff.
Came here to say the same! A man who takes his and his families safety upon himself is a man I respect.
Mounting outdoors is an option, zero dust in the house!
Good stuff man!!
Hole 🕳 ly wow that's so awesome. Very nice.
Jeremy, I can't believe I missed this! Used dust collection many times in the past, this looks like a solid unit!
It's heavy duty and built really well. So far I like it a lot.

Yes they don’t stay there more than 24 hours. 👍🏻

Great video thanks again
Would pay to put a stool under the dust bag to take the weight of the dust in the bag.

I was surprised that comments must have been disabled on the pine door one? They were lovely
Huh?
💚
Idk about that miter saw for stain grade trim...
Just wondering how much a bag full of saw dust weights ? Maybe should sit on a bench if not the floor to hold the heavy bag?
It's not supposed to be fully filled. @11:20 ish.... he mentions this. Only about half full max. Dust isn't that heavy either, saw dust or otherwise unless wet.
Could you put it on a portable table?
I still see saw dust flying onto the floor
Upgrade to the canister filter,, but you still need to wear a respirator.
😯👍👍👍👌❤❤❤
💚🌞
I put those lights in my shop caused white noise on my radio instead of music
You love that machine don't you. Since you deal mainly with pine you should be feeling wonderful soon . After all you will be eliminating pine dust.
🙏🖖👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍✌
.
I gotta tell you those things SUCK big time!!!
I guessing that you mean that in a good way!
