I turn it off 2 hours every sunday morning. 😊 0:39
LOL. Me to.
Good information. But I would recommend taking your hands out of the cameras view. Very distracting. Thanks…
Why complain if the explanation is fine. Really stop it come on😒 make the world a better place without negativity please. And don’t say you do it like you just feedback him, just be real
5 minutes of annoying, distracting hand motions. Unless you're clicking something, keep them out of view.
I really like his hands. They are so clean and well-groomed.
@@Abadak Weird.

I think he’s Italian
I've had my 14 pro max for 15 months. I shut it off every day when I sleep. I also charge with lightening only. Many don't believe me but my battery health is still 100%. I have a 2nd phone with a very cheap plan that only family has the number for to call if an emergency crops up. It's good to detach from these things.
do you plug your phone in while charging if it’s off?
@@olivzhou No. It would just turn back on. I charge it when I get home from work. When it hits 93-95% I unplug. Then, about 20 minutes later, I shut it off. I'd say it spends about 6-8 hours a day off, depending on how well I sleep.
@@olivzhouplug it in and then shut it down. Never had an issue with phone having low battery and I use it lots.
Do you game?
@@Iamklif Not anything taxing. A few simple time killers. I'm old! My screen time is like 1-1.5 hours a day. LOL. I think that's one of the reasons my battery is still good. I mainly use it as a phone/iPod. I take some pictures but rarely any video. The regular or plus would have been fine but I like the 120hz and I do use the 3x zoom sometimes.
For a better presentation, just get to the point and say it! You are using too many repeated phrases and dragging it out. My suggestion is offered as self help and not to be critical. Your video was very helpful. Keep up the good work!
Maybe include a time stamp so we all don’t have to listen to repeated statements please. That would be helpful
There is a minimum video length on YT that allows better monetizing. (5-to 8 minutes is recommended ie. you cant place ads in a 30-90 seconds video) we are living in weird world, where not everything is as it seems, and other considerations are more important than what first appears to be
...of course, he could have made a short video, but that would only have had a negative effect in the long, often hopeless daily struggle to make a name for himself, or perhaps a living.
Totally for this! I have started doing this when I bought the 13 Pro Max...have had it since launch day 2021 - still have it. Perhaps this is a reason why it STILL feels great to me, battery health is at 90%, which is by far the best I've had on an iPhone after 2 years - and counting right now. I have this old Samsung Note 9, brother gave that to me...certainly feels outdated and slow in 2024, sadly to me at least....BUT one of options this phone had even way back in 2019 was a reboot schedule I set in Android settings every Wed. and Sun morning at 3am. I always thought that was a great feature!
Really helpful, thanks
Rebooting also clears ram😊
Good information
“RAM memory is redundant.” The M in RAM stands for memory. It’s just like saying “the Rio Grande river”.
…or the ATM machine
And PIN number
I have a reminder for every Wednesday night to turn off my phone. I leave it off the whole night during sleep. And use another old phone for alarm.
Citing the NSA for advice…😂😂😂
Wallpaper can you share
Nice wallpaper, from where?
Wallpaper please?
Yes for 30 years was told turn off clear cookies restart a few times a day . Other options backup and factory set then reload Apple recommendations . Just thought that was basic maintence .
Owning both an iPhone 13 pro max and a Google Pixel 8 pro (both PROS lol) allows me to turn off either one throughout the day to allow them to REST for a good amount of time lol. 😆
Drop the wallpaper link in the description
I had to do this today because an app was not performing properly.
RAM Memory...PIN Number...ATM Machine...Great video by the way...Thanks.
Video topic : Turn off your iPhone
But the phone stays on throughout the video
Can you please help me send me the link that you want said long time ago but if you want to leave your phone with a security that makes an alarm and takes a screenshot because I forgot the name I should have downloaded it but I can’t because I don’t remember it well please can you send me the link again I’m using iPhone 14 pro
What about iPad?
I turn my iPhone 14 Plus every night for at least 5 hours
edit: I bought a used iPhone XS Max and i had it for 3 years and a half and i always turned it off at night, and the battery health never dropped from 87%
Damn how’d you get below 90?
@@KingBr33ch i forgot to mention i bought it used with 87%
For me, the XS Max had the BEST battery ever in an iPhone. I traded that 2 year old phone in - with 97% health for the 12 Pro Max, which happens to be the absolute WORST iPhone battery AND phone I have ever owned. (Bough in Nov. 2020...Something happened in Feb 2021 where the battery went from 100% to 0% in 2 1/2 hours overnight! Apple had no answers ) --- then the health plummeted to 90% by June, 81% when 13 Pro Max came out. Traded the lemon of a phone in for the 13 Pro Max, still have it, still a great phone.
@@ThatGuyInPhilly i currently also own an iPhone 13 Pro Max. and the battery is pretty good. but i feel like my old iphone xs max on ios 16.5.1 battery was better. it must be because of the ios 17.4.1 v2. i don’t know if i should update to ios 17.5.1
If you shut off your phone and charge it at the same time, will it come back on?
Im restarting my phone every week once
If NSA says so, it’s probably the other way around 😂
I turned my iPhone every time I take a shower every day
I shut down all my devices before I go to sleep. The purpose is 2 fold, one they need rest. Two, I won't be bothered in the middle of the night.
Btw I turn them on when I go out, or if I want to listen to music. If I don't the phone stays off. Haha
When someone’s calling for an emergency at night, it’ll be too late.
This totally hits home for me !!! Because someone stole my Samsung Android ! Which I already needed and had to buy for some reasons an iPhone for an emergency backup cellphone !!! And my Samsung would need 10 resets a day !!! So learning and transistioning now to iPhone my new main phone and no more Samsung nightmares !!! But I still use my Android years of experience to helping others to set-up and adjust their phones !!!
You must have bought a 6 year old android
Wallpaper though??
Or a simpler way to shut off your iPhone is just hold the volume up button and the power button bathe same time you will get 2 slider options on the screen the top one is to power off your iPhone and the one underneath is for emergencies so just hold down the volume up button and the power button at the same time for a couple of seconds and slide the slider that says “slide to power off” at the top that way you don’t need to go into settings there is no messing with holding the power button and doing the whole volume button up volume button down thing it’s just plain and simple just hold the power button and the volume up button for like two seconds and the slider at the top that says “slide to power off” slide that slider and your phone will power off OR you can also ask Siri to turn off your phone that’s another option
I turn off mines at least 1-2x a day. Idk why but it’s just my routine.
There’s always something with IOS I don’t know what are they. The laggy and app buggy are annoyed. These symptoms never happen with Samsung devices for ages. Since iPhone XS Max till now these little buggy laggy apps are still very annoying me.
I turn off my iPhone everyday when going to bed,
Why do you recommend to turn off for 5 minutes? Can it be less?
Yes. Once the power was off, the contents/data stored in the RAM (memory card) is lost. You can turn the power back on right away.
I shut it off every night before bed.
I turn off all my electronics once a week.
I turn it off for a minute every week
I am turning it off every night, also my iPads
yeah guys don't forget to clear your RAM memory
👍👍👍👍
i do it every night after my phone has fully charged
Of course volume up and volume down and hold the power button and slide who doesn’t know this
The hand going back and forth in the video is annoying.
I just turn off all my Devices over night. Since i’m sleeping I don’t need any of them so I can cut down the power bill a little bit by saving energy since a turned off device doesn’t consume any power and in the morning I can turn it on again and have the best performance over the day.
Unnecessary, and can be problematic if you have an emergency at night.
@@mementomori29231 Then I can use the Landline telephone.
Do you not have to set any alarms to wake up for work in the morning ??
Or you can tell Siri to Shut Down your iphone or Restart it if you want. Try it, it works!
Phones don’t operate today the way they used to. This advice is very dated.
I just tell Siri to turn off.
I didn’t play the whole video, but I power my iPhone off every night not my iPad, but just the iPhone. I’ll finish the rest of the video. See what content is there
I never turn off my phone. It will restart a few times every year anyway when updating to a new version of the OS. RAM fragmentation doesn't seem to be a problem on most Linux-based OS'es.
Instead I remove the batteries from each and every fire alarm before bedtime so they wont wake us during the night. It actually increased the battery life of the alarms a great deal. I tried to push the restart button a few times but that doesn't seem to work. Instead it makes an unpleasant high pitched and deafening sound. I would absolutely hate to be waked from that during the night.
Btw, the part about the fire alarm is a joke. Do not remove batteries. You might die.
Something I read or another video said 5 minutes a day for the security reasons
Waste of time for memory. iPhone 15 Pro Max was using 8.15GB after watching the video. Shutdown for 5 minutes turned back on and memory went up to 12.49GB. Then closed all apps went down to 11.73GB. Shutdown again. Upon restart memory was at 11.65GB.
You are just wrong lol shutting down and restarting the iPhone definitley refreshes the system and makes it smoother and fluid
Apple just became dirty as Xiaomi
@@michaelthapa4913android is dirty
Not sure but an app like device monitor should do it too.
Mine (iphone 13) really become faster and smoother after restart. Not just for some time but its hold that smoothness.
you dont need to turn off your iphone. ignore this video.

Impressive
I turn my iPhone off before I go to bed. Lithium batteries have a shelf life and keeping your iPhone on all day and night is ridiculous.
bullshit
Runs out of what you say? What’s this madness you speak of.
