Thank you, for tuning down this low I use a set of 13-62 with a 72 for the F sharp. It's not drop tuned though, just 5 steps down from standard. For time saving though I'm starting to prefer the transpose function in the Neural plugins, it works so well it just saves the hassle of changing strings all the time haha
That's a hard one to answer haha. I change my mind a lot on that. I really like low tunings for the ominous/dark sound they have but I like higher tunings a lot because they tend to be more aggressive sounding. It's a different answer depending on how many strings but if I had to choose only one tuning forever, it would probably be B standard 7 string, I think it's the perfect middle ground. Do you have a favourite?
