You should review the "Star Wars: Darth Plagueis - Episode 1" Created by Everest Productions. It's really good and it offers a unique type of entertainment and based off of the Darth Plagueis novels .
Only if it a near perfect match to the books, like the Last of Us show. Heck make it a show instead of a movie to do it right and make the audience care about the story and characters like in the books

I’ll be honest, the idea of being trapped alone on an abandoned star destroyer with tens of thousands of zombies is scarier to me than almost any other zombie scenario I can think of. There is no where to hide, no where to live, nobody to save you. You can only survive by escaping.
There was only one game that I remember the Blackwing virus making an appearance in an actual Disney game. I first picked up Death Troopers at a local library book sale years ago when I was in middle school going to high school. The cover was impressive enough as just seeing that impaled Stormtrooper helmet on that hook was chilling. Upon ready the book (mind you, I was not exposed to something like this before) I had to take breaks because of how visceral and gnarly all those scenes and more got! I was able to get Red Harvest this year and read it, it for sure was just as bloody as the first (Though I dare say Death Troopers was more savage) and the worst/greatest part was, when I started read, I could not put the book down. If you are a fan of horror, body horror and sci-fi, get your hands on these books!!
Imagine a planetary outbreak in the Unknown Regions, close enough for those infected to then be encountered by the Mngaal Mngaal. Consumptive, malicious pathogens and their husks at odds with each other.
First thing that comes to mind when I hear Death Troopers is zombie stormtroopers the black armored ones are pretty scary too with the unrecognizable modulated voice but not nearly as scary as the zombies especially when in high numbers
I wonder if Vitiate knew this ritual. He uses an elixer to make his hand immortal, at the cost of centuries of agony. I wonder if this is how he made that elixer.
Wait, if the virus took over Dathomir in Legends, how is it that Luke and Ben were able to go to Dathomir during the Fate of the Jedi series? They even had a Jedi Temple on Dathomir before the Fate of the Jedi series and after the fall of the Empire. So how does that work?
One of my favorite scenes in Death Troopers is when Zahara comes back to medical and finds her 21B medical droid in pieces. Repairing it as much as possible, the reply it gave when she asked where dead patients were, “They woke up! They just eat…” 🥶
Let’s go been waiting for this one and man the wait was well worth it always love these horror lore vids and this topic absolutely deserves one and one that makes a fine addition to the horror collection and was an epic finale
Slightly off-topic, but I had a quick "Hey, wait a minute" moment around 12:36 when I saw the Refinery text and conveyor attachment port. That's a neat Space Engineers build, and it makes me wanna go build more stylized ships myself now
The worse part is the blacking virus infected slowly get smarter the longer they exist. At one point a couple waited in the hanger and as the survivors ran into it, and TORE their head off their bodies as they entered the hanger.
We actually see this kinda brought into canon. In at least 2 ways. 1. The Clone Wars. You have the fight against the CIS on Dathomir. They straight up bring dead nightisters back, but only as a bullwark. (If it were ANY other faction, this tactic may have worked. You would have to have something akin to the Logic Plague from Halo, dripping fron the teeth, to infect the droids, but I'm just curious if someone were to be bitten, woukd they die and turn? 2. Jedi: Fallen Order When Cal is being followed by Merin, she calls a horde of undead nightsisters to attack both you, and the Dark Jedi, Taron Malicoes. Again, it seems to me that Dathomiri Witches all have the ability to ressurect the dead. And if they do, does it differ from The Black Wing Virus? Would the Black Wing Virus be able to overide the control the Nightsisters have on their dead kin? Or would it cancel out?
Stupendous Wave, have you ever covered the forgotten Galaxy of Terror novels? I read my dad's old copy of the second book ages ago, and I am curious to know if you will cover them.
In Star Wars Galaxies, they had the Quarantine Zone on Dathomir for high level players. You could acquire Death Trooper armor pieces through various missions in the Zone.
Datamir is not completlly overrun though. the planet is beeing visited several times in legends afther this, the mother of talen kar was from the planet if i remember correctly and she met the heaven prince afther this. the last book series also visits the planet encountering witches and nightsisters. at the time most nightsisters is completly gone and there is insteadd more reasonable witches in charge, i think we see this in book 4 or 5 of the series where abaloth is encounterd
