Nice video. I managed the refueling department in Buffalo for 39 years. The A-350 was not making trips to KBUF at the time of my retirement. Sure brought back some good memories. Never fueled they A-350 but then again when I started I was fueling DC-6's, Fokker F-100's, BAC-111's, L-1011's, and B-707's! Thanks for the video, keep them coming. You can trust your ass to the guy who pumps your gas!
No, it is not required, the fueler can relieve pressure into a small tank on the truck. We just help them out, so the tank doesn’t fill up to fast. Plenty of room in the aircraft to off load an extra liter or so.
@@dennisvijverbergbrakesrele6098 OK thanks I wasn´t aware of that. So, is this always done after a refuel to relieve pressure into the truck (or aircraft)?
Depends on load and flight routes. Pilots will get a flight plan, this will have the fuel load of the flight. Then weather and some other items are checked and then they determine how much they take.
Hi, yes it’s an option you can add to the aircraft, then fuel can be set by the cockpit, I have only seen it with one operator. Still you need to switch the fueling on. A380 had the opportunity to be fueled fully from the cockpit without using the refueling panel.

Thanks
533 gallons per minute?? That emptied my bank account immediately. lol
When those things are fueling all 3 tanks at once, that can go above 700
Awesome! Thanks for sharing. I just love the A-350 although I've never had a chance to ride on it yet. Maybe one day.
That's an awesome hydrant truck.. I wish my station had equipment that nice.
Thanks I was having issues refuelling my a350-900
I’ve watch a lot of A350 and I’m still surprised by the size of the aircraft. Seeing the refuel rig and person under the wing gives you the scale 😂
Nice video!
Thx, now i can refuel it before i take it borrowed
Don’t forget the get the keys 😉
That's great, I learned a lot!
Is it required to always select MAN REFUEL to relieve pressure from the refuel gallery? I am not aware of this procedure for other Airbus aircraft.

Nice!!
Who determines how much fuel to put in?

On a sidenote, there's provision in Airbus aircrafts to set the fuel from the aircraft.

How do you know how much fuel the aircraft needs ?
Fuel figures are give by flight crew, depending what the flight plan needs.
@@dennisvijverbergbrakesrele6098 By the way, in What cases do you use manual refuel?
@@RomanVideos1 When auto refuel doesn't work well, or when maintenance team check refuelling system etc..
Feels exactly like STAR TREK... 😇😇😇
Awesome Job... I would love to do this job... 🦾🦾🦾👌👌👌👍👍👍
Thank you so much 😀
