@@blissyogawellness Are you trying to send emails to your entire list or to segments of your list that are going to spam? Are all emails going to spam or just the broadcast emails, sequence emails, or event emails? How often do you send emails? In the Marketing settings, what do you have set as your "From" email address?
This is a great question. My best response is "It depends". The key deciding factor here is the sender's standing and reputation. If you have a well-established email address and domain, that has an existing excellent sender reputation then I would say, "By all means use the custom domain!" If however, you are fairly new to the business or don't have a sender reputation for your email and domain, then stick with the stellar reputation that Kajabi has established. For me, even though I have a great sender reputation, I still use Kajabi's settings. Personally, I prefer to go with a longer-standing sender reputation, which will help with those dreaded "spam/junk/promotions" redirects. I hope this helps.

@@rebeccaaustin I keep trying to explain this to the person I’m talking to for Kajabi support. When I connected my custom domain using what Kajabi provided my email stopped working. Not on the Kajabi side. But the custom domain. Trying to figure that out lol and they think I’m talking about email.
@@joshuafcenters Ok, thanks for clarifying. If you set up a custom domain and your email stops working, there are some DNS records for your email that you need to add. Kajabi used to have us use our own Cloudflare account for domain integration, so if you have your own Cloudflare account, you'll sign into Cloudflare and adjust the DNS records needed for your email. If you recently set up your domain with Kajabi, they changed the system so you don't have to get a Cloudflare account...it's already integrated. If that's the case, go to Settings -> Domain -> and then click on the option to edit DNS records. You may need to get with your email provider to find out what DNS records are specifically needed so your account works seamlessly. If you explain this to Kajabi support, they might be able to help you as well. I hope that helps.

Are you using Kajabi's sender reputation or did you set up the custom domain email settings?
@@rebeccaaustin I am using Kajabi's sender reputation

Can you use a custom domain for the landing pages and still use Kajabis email system without adding your custom domain?
Absolutely! I personally do this, since I prefer to use Kajabi's stellar sender reputation rather than my own for sending emails through Kajabi.
