That is my motto.
I am a german car driver with 20 + years of driving experience and as you could have guessed: I love cars. I show you how I drive from my POV with two onboard cams. There is “no speedlimit“ for me, only the limit of the car can stop me. I demonstrate acceleration tests ( 0-100 kph / 0-200 kph / 100-200 kph / 200-300 kph ), high-speed-runs and test drives on the German Autobahn / Deutsche Autobahn. With my videos I want to give you a real and raw driving experience with all type of cars (manual, automatic, electric, hybrid) and all the noises that come with it. So let‘s find out how fast I can drive, shall we? But I have one last message for you: Please don‘t test your limits on the streets when you don‘t know what you are doing. Soy un conductor de automóviles alemán con más de 20 años de experiencia como conductor y como habrás adivinado: me encantan los automóviles. Te muestro cómo conduzco desde mi punto de vista con dos cámaras a bordo. No hay "límite de velocidad" para mí, solo el límite del automóvil puede detenerme. Demuestro pruebas de aceleración (0-100 kph / 0-200 kph / 100-200 kph / 200-300 kph), así como pilotaje a alta velocidad y pruebas de conducción en la autopista alemana / Deutsche Autobahn. Con mis videos quiero brindarte una experiencia de pilotaje real y realista con todo tipo de coches (manual, automático, eléctrico, híbrido) y todos los ruidos que lo acompañan. This 3cyl engine sounds nice, close to a straight 6 and better than a 4. I tried a 118i and good acceleration for only 136bhp.
it's a real pleasure to drive it. I expected less from this engine but the power is very good considering the size.

Pretty high, considering the 1.5 and 3 cylinders. I can tell you I get around 8 in the city and 6.5 to 7 outside ...

@@AnkitDhanna for me the car is good enough. I think it’s good looking, it’s luxury and tech enough for me, it’s fast enough for me. And i think it drives very comfortable. If you have a family with 2 children or something than it’s better to choose the 218i grand tourer. Because the trunk space of the active tourer isn’t big. With one kid it’s ok. If you start the car with a cold engine than the exhaust is loud. In my case on a parking spot when i started the car people even came to me and said sir you got a leaking exhaust. But this isn’t the case. It’s just loud. When the engine is warm the sound is less heavy. You only hear it from the outside of the car. Inside you don’t hear it. One thing I don’t like is the fuel consumption…. I don’t have a heavy feet and I’m totally not sporty driver i follow the rules and the max speed in here in the Netherlands is 100kmh . But still my consumption is between 1 liter on 12 km. And 1 liter on 14 km.. i think it’s not good on gas for a compact mpv with a modern 3 cilinder turbo. It should be 1 liter on 18 km. But sadly this isn’t the case. Overall i like the car and I planning to keep it longer….
Thanks for taking the time and writing the review in detail. We are just a couple, so the car would be big enough for us. Fuel efficiency seem to be low but I didn't expect a lot to be honest. Thanks again..
@@AnkitDhanna I also didn’t expect 5L on 100km / 1 liter on 20km from this car . But 1L on 18 or 17km i think that should be posible for a car from this size with this engine. . But not for this bmw 218i active tourer sadly. My divorce with my ex wife literally started the week that I picked up this car from the dealer 😂 so nowadays it’s just me in the car and my daughter when she’s with me. So the space is more than enough for me now. But for a couple with 1 child it’s also big enough. I also like the higher step in from the mpv. Because i’m tall and my back hurts.
@@jdnrotterdam2150 Got it, maybe they improved the efficiency in the later models. How is the experience when taking it for long drives? I usually will use it long trips, because inside Wien, I'd rather use the public transport.
