Re: getting Celestial Trinkets, a quick heads-up for anyone not already in the know- You can get a *Stat Selectable Backpiece, Ring, and Accessory/Earing* in *Bitterforst* via collecting Frostberries as map currency. There's an *Amulet, Ring, and a Backpiece* for Blood Rubies at *Bloodstone Fen* (bonus here is that there is a stat change item you can also get to use on these as well). And also the *Amulet, Ring, and Accessory/Earing* for Mistborn motes at *Dragonfall* . Sure you'll have to do so map stuff and farm currency but you can make some gold while doing this and after a few weeks or so easily have all 6 slots filled with Ascended stat selectable items that cost you 0 gold/laurels.

I've been struggling to find a build that felt just right for open world adventuring. There are many other effective options out there (as evidenced by your other videos) but this was absolutely perfect for me. Holosmith is thematically and visually interesting, this build avoids the usual kit reliance, and still handles a variety of situations smoothly. And, of course, it's fun! :) Thanks for all your great content!
Definitely the most expensive set I've crafted to date. Can't wait to get into the nitty gritty of the set! Thanks, man! Your theory crafting is always interesting and well thought out.
Love these videos- as a new player, I would love to see the proff in the title since knowing all the elite specs for each proff can be tough to keep track of.
@@MindOverMeta :) Glad to help! I can say I have seen A LOT of videos of proffs I don't play for this reason, but would still help to narrow down what we noobs are looking for!
Holy i did think that i was the only one wanting to play like that, i always see build focused on just only POWER or CONDITION, that is the first time i did see a build that use the two factors that do damage on one build and make this works, im actually using my holo full grieving "Full exotic hiting 13,5K to 17K Damage on the GOLEM.
Awesome. Generally it is better to specialize for optimal damage. But in Open World we can often get competitive and strong results traiting for both. Grieving is a nice combo in some situations... awesome that you are hittiing those numbers :))
@@MindOverMeta I did some changes, i was using eagle rune i did change to beserker and change to sword/pistol and change some traits of Firearms, with all that i did get to 19-22K DPS constant.
I dont know what is the max DMG that classes can get with FULL EXOTIC because i know that the benchmarks and so on the sites are made full of ascendeds, and ascendeds items get 10% more stats for each part than EXOTIC.
So I’m thinking of trying out this spec. How is it for open world difficulty? Would you say it’s fairly easy? Compared to Chronomancer, which is harder for pve? Also, is holo good with sword and shield combo? And does it have like aura abilities that can do damage? Cuz I noticed one was like a star shaped thing that does damage around you.
That's it, I can't have just one character to main. I need at least 4. Currently playing celestial rev, tempest and fb, but I always wanted to level my engineer to roll holosmith, and as a big celestial fan, I can't hold it now that I've seen this.
Hey, as a follow up to your response to my comment on your flamethrower build, I gave this video a watch. I actually haven't unlocked Holosmith yet, but this does look like a lot of fun! If you think this would be viable for dual pistol I think I will work towards this. Heck, if I manage to get a sword skin that matches my pistol I made just do sword and pistol. Thanks for the video!
i loved this intro..hahaa. so cool. Have you ever played chronomancer?...I'd like to see a build on that. I just been attempting one after playing mirage so long for a change.
Glad you liked :) Uh.... yeah...ummmm.... uhhhh... me and CHrono don't get along... its something I plan to revisit at some point but I really really suck on it.
I think my comment got lost! :( Rebuilding: Been looking forward to seeing this build and I really love it. It's very close to what I've been trying to do with my condi holosmith who is plenty of fun and so more fun would be great. I think I'll be making my shopping list for some ascended condi gear for her. Thoughts: Food recommendations with your videos? I'm thinking that this build (like many holos using Thermal Release Valve) would profit from using an endurance regen food? Thought #2 (which isn't to be confused with a second thought ;) : Have you considered giving the color palette you are using with your fashion breaks? I'm another big fan of the Magitech armor but this color palette really caught my attention. So much eye candy! I wonder why all my engineers also use an eyepiece/monocle patch too? Of course, the first engineer also scarred up his face in an unfortunately experiment with his first holosmith build and so now he has to wear a corrective monocle. Word to the wise: Don't be like my guy Phalanx. Don't look direct at the Prime Light Beam when it fires. ;) lol
In the premier chat last night one of the folks in there also told me that when running pure condi holo he was getting really nice results with Marshall's gear. Can't confirm the efficacity, but he said there was some pretty strong results. I basically did this because I always kind of thought food was a super optional thing and a lot of us actually forget to carry/run it. That said this is not a written in stone thing.... and I think I just came up with an idea to add this in a fun way as I was answering your post.... will kick it around a little. Basically a condi daredevil, d/d and shortbow with kraitrune. You can find the build on metabattle just with cele gear and the heal on dmg traitline. I find it a bit underwhelming because it lacks aoe dmg for open World but it has good sustain and heal. I am Also not a good thief Player. I mean cele is Basically a condi Set with better sustain and support and a bit more strike dmg.
Hello, i recently boosted and engineer to play holosmith, and im absolutely loving this! :D Thanks mate. Quick question, what sigil do you use on your shield? I like the aesthetic of the sword & shield combo and it got me curious :)
@@MindOverMeta While you do not demonstrate sword/shield in combat you do have one in the 2nd weapon set. It is shown during the plasma weapon section. I'm also curious as to what sigil if any was used for that shield?

Thanks for the kind words... more to come. Yes. The boost gear now is Celestial and will work well with this build. Your numbers will be 10-15% below using BiS (Ascended) gear but as a starting point that is more than serviceable until you start earning ascended.
Running for quite some time with ascended celestial rings/trinkets/accesories etc. and full exotic berserker armor and weapons and having fun. I wanna upgreade to ascended armor and wpns but dont know if I should change for celestial or should stay with zerker.
