The fact that he made 10 rivals in the mode but only made one in the actual game (If that makes sense) I feel like he is kinda giving up on ayano and the rivals. I've noticed people making comments why no one is concerned a trenchcoat man is lingering outside a high school. When you listen to the tapes provided in Yandere simulator the Journalist mentions he's not allowed on school grounds because he is a disgraced journalist and the school doesn't want more bad publicity. So, by standing at the gate he's not technically on the property and he's able to question student (also mentioned in the tapes). He's not considered suspicious since most of the staff knows who he is.
Jay, your reputation only "registers" after improving it or decreasing it when the person who saw you do the reputable/disreputable act, GOSSIP to the other students in the school plaza. As such, you can kill people who haven't gossiped yet to remove the change. You can also apologize (I think) to students who are going to gossip to lower your rep, to half the reputation loss. That's why it took a day for the reputation to register. Not that it was a glitch. Just by the next day, your reputation has actually made it around the school. Like so That Dude see's this.

Am I the only one who thinks instead of Info-Chan's 'Schemes' on how to kill your rival, Yan-Chan should have a notepad/journal type thing with hints to the different ways you can eliminate your rival, different skills and techniques and other hints on how to play the game. Personally, I think 1980's mode works as an awesome tutorial, especially all the hints on how to kill each of Ryoba's rivals to get the best ending (its the perfect balance between just enough information to know what to do, and not giving away every little detail). I think Yan-Chan should be gifted her mum's old journal that she used to write all her details about eliminating her rivals. One of the big problems with the schemes is that it completely sucks the fun out of trying to discover it all yourself. You get told how to do absolutely EVERY DETAIL. And this defeats the original idea of stalking your rival to find information and find out when you can do things, such as sabotaging the interactions with Senpai. That is why I think Ryoba should have kept a journal, with very minimal details (only hints that players need to get enough information on what to do, and still be able to discover it themselves and feel like they are actually being stealthy). The hints/details would be minimal due to the journalist and being suspected of murder, Ryoba couldn't write detailed information and therefore only wrote it in a hint-like format. This also ties in with Ryoba wanting to pass down everything she knows to her future daughter, who we obviously know is Ayano. Of course, in the journal it shouldn't just be written hints, maybe there could be little doodles or scribbles with key words, and maybe some doodles of the different things you can do, such as listening in on the rival's conversations. This honestly makes the game a lot more fun; figuring out how to kill or eliminate the rivals without being told every step, and without being absolutely clueless as what to do. It also makes a lot more sense then having a mysterious, 'all-knowing' student in the school. I think Info-Chan's whole concept is strange, and I think she shouldn't be in the game at all. Especially with being able to buy resources from the town. Everything needed should be available in the town, and be bought with money that Yan-chan earns. This also gets rid of the controversial panty shot problem. (obviouslt the phone will keep its functionality: rather than seeing what you can buy from info-Chan, maybe Yan-Chan can look it up online instead, and see what shes needs and what shop she can buy it from. I also think it'll be cool if Yan-Chan was given the option to skip class and sneak out of the school and go to the town for that lesson period to gather the supplies she might need for that day. Yan-Chan will have to be stealthy as to not be spotted by people she knows, and she'd have to find a way to cover her uniform so that people don't realise that a student from a prestigious school is skipping lesson. Obviously this has consequences if she gets caught, and the consequence of missing out on developing her skills with the lesson points (or whatever they are called). This is where the clubs can also come in handy; Yan-Chan could "borrow" a costume from the drama club, or change into sports wear when a member of the sports club. This is just my opinion, and if I were developing the game, this would definitely be the direction I would go when giving players hints and info to the wide range of features and other things available to do in what is meant to be a stealth game (especially new players who may not have been following the games development, or players who want to discover it all themselves and have avoiding watching videos so that they are able to do it all without any previous and prior knowledge). It's not stealthy, fun, or rewarding to be guided every step of the way with the schemes. This to me just makes a lot more sense, the journal concept is a lot more fun, and dare I say, more "Yandere" like; as with Info-Chan, Ayano just feels like a hitman, or being instructed to do Info-Chan's dirty work. Anyways, 1980's is awesome, I love the concept so much and its genuinely fun. I just think this idea makes a lot more sense, and neatly ties in 1980's mode with the normal mode. It also makes Yan-Chan and Ryoba have a small connection, as it kinda feels like they aren't related as we never see them together. A cut scene on Ayano's first day of school where Ryoba gifts her the journal before Yan-Chan starts school would be really cute. And Yan-Chan will think nothing of the journal until she meets Senpai, and realises that she has to eliminate the rivals getting in between her and her beloved Senpai. Hey Jay! I know that this isn't a yandere simulator myth video, but I found a cool bug! (This works on the latest build, December 14th, I'm not sure if it works on the 1980's mode, but still give it a shot) When you first spawn in, open the easter egg menu and go on pose mode, go up to a random student, and click "Freeze all students" if Osana and Raiburu are still moving, click the "Freeze all students button" again. After that, activate the witch mode from the easter egg menu, and click ctrl twice, which will cause her to stop time and then continue time. After that, the students will start acting weird and freeze at the lockers! You can stand infront of senpai without being noticed, kill someone, carry a dangerous weapon around, without them noticing you! If you want to kill someone, go up to someone and click "Release student" then you are able to murder them! And if you go to lunch time using the debug menu, senpai will glide towards you! Sorry that this was so long, I just wanted to share this with other people. Btw, YOU'RE THAT DUDE
Yandere Sim tip: the raincoat also acts as gloves so you can just wear that instead of joining a club! Very convenient for framing someone for murder! Hope this helps someone, maybe even Jay

Hey Jay did you know you can kidnap a teacher? How to do it: 1. get the sedative and syringe from the nurses office 2. upgrade your Biology 3. Go into cyborg mode 4. get the book from the library and talk to any teachers 5. they should talk back and do their task 6. ask them to follow you into the kidnaping room 7. kidnap them I'm not sure if it'll work but if it does you'll see a teacher in your basement
32:12 There is also another ending, its the A rank ending where you can get a student council, like Reiichi, and give him presents and such and he will start to talk about you to the other student council members and develop feelings for you, and will get very excited when you talk to him. And if you are wondering, you shouldn't eliminate the rivals by killing them or day by day, you should befriend all the rivals and tell them to stay away from senpai. When senpai sees you close to the student council member, (in this case Reiichi) he will get jealous because he thinks girls like spending time with other guys more than him, you can see him stare at Ryoba with a shy stance (because Reiichi is always following Ryoba) once the court case is over, Ryoba confesses to senpai, and he says something about "i never expected someone to like me that has such a popular guy that likes them" even though 10 girls liked him💀 It's very difficult to explain but i thought i should let you know about this ending

2. upgrade your Biology
3. Go into cyborg mode
4. get the book from the library and talk to any teachers
5. they should talk back and do their task
6. ask them to follow you into the kidnaping room
7. kidnap them

When senpai sees you close to the student council member, (in this case Reiichi) he will get jealous because he thinks girls like spending time with other guys more than him, you can see him stare at Ryoba with a shy stance (because Reiichi is always following Ryoba) once the court case is over, Ryoba confesses to senpai, and he says something about "i never expected someone to like me that has such a popular guy that likes them" even though 10 girls liked him💀 It's very difficult to explain but i thought i should let you know about this ending
