Please do one from 1800 to 2100! I would love to see the decline in fertility rates in Western countries too! Like Europe had a TFR in 1950 of 2.4 or something, but if you start at 1800, they would originally have high fertility rates too.
Educated people tend to have less babies as it costs a lot to raise a baby and they have life goals. Uneducated people are usually poor and have low standards so they don't worry about cost as their babies grow in poor conditions. Also they don't have much to do other than having babies. I don't care what others do as long as it affects me, but this does affect me. Overpopulation is a huge problem in BD. We would be much happier if the population was smaller.
Overpopulation is not a huge problem. People love to act like the population is increasing like crazy but it isn’t. The world population could decline after 2070 and a declining population has its own problems. Stop making straw man arguments like “ we would do so much better with a lower population” actually, the workforce and economy could literally collapse. There are enough resources for everyone it’s just that they aren’t distributed well, and that’s already improving. Educated/wealthy people having fewer children is a recent phenomenon. It used to be the opposite. Royals would have like twice as many children on average as common people.
