@@AmyShulke - You’ve been on my mind these past few days and hey presto, you showed up on my feed. I see I have a lot of catching up to do for which I am excited.
how have i never found this channel before. not only is this video teaching about colors, contrast, shading, underpainting, its also teaching about why petals are formed a certain why! i learned alot from watching this :3
Oh now it makes sense. I'm pretty good at learning crafts and arts. But i've been failed repeatedly when it's comes to alcohol markers and digital art. Hope one day i'll be able to master this too 😅
You can definitely master markers; everyone can. If what you're doing now doesn't work, change it up. Take a class or if you are taking classes, find a different instructor. Also check your paper because good paper really is key to good results.
Dont know... theres many colors called pink that are dark and NOT red... even 1 pigmented pinks... so i dont see the problem. And even copic has not only darker reds but darker pinks too. And i dont mean DARK pinks, i mean darker ones than the lightest ones that are still light colors and not considered dark... Well IF you have that problem with alcohol markers, try waercolors. Best art medium for coloring with really light colors and dark of course too
Valid points but I'm not really here to push marker fans into watercolor. I'm trying to help marker people get great results from markers. I suspect from your avatar that you're probably not a card maker but there are a large number of people who color stamps who want to get depth and dimension from their pale pink markers. Right now, tutorials are telling them to add dark pink. I'm simply suggesting ways to keep the desired pale pink without darkening the value of the petal.
Last I was here I believe you were taking a break from this channel if memory serves me, due to wrist pain. Well I’m glad you’re back.
You have a good memory! I had shoulder issues. Glad you found me again.

Me too. I vote for more troll colors!
I NEED THIS LESSON!!! Thank you for doing Cherry 🌸 Blossoms. Even if you are done with pink for the rest of the year. 😂
Pink and I were never the best of friends. Now we need a trial separation, LOL

I saw your email this morning and just responded :)
Yellow highlight suggestion is great.
Thanks! I think it adds a nice touch.
That’s funny the casket thing.
I'll also need some Indigo pencils. Then again, it's not Heaven without Indigo pencils. What color should we throw into your casket?
@@AmyShulke um, I don't know .its not a heaven without pink fabric. I like to sew. lol
Lol, time stamp 8:36 Amy sees Copic Colors....

Thanks!
