What Does Zeltex Do?
The Zeltex company started making tents and tarpaulins. We have added many products year after year. We currently do large print fabrication, all retractable roofs, canopy covers and aprons and make all kinds of things.
What Kind Of Machines Do You Use?
We start by thinking about it and drawing everything on the PC. Then it goes to the CNC. We decide whether the product is to be welded with high frequency, hot air welding or hot wedge welding. We have all kinds of machines there, and then we say this product will be welded with this or welded with that.
How’s Your Experience With A Miller Machine?
We bought the first machine in 2003, it was a smaller floor machine. We worked with it for three to four years and then we switched to high frequency. In 2017, we got a large T600 from Miller and we've been working with Miller machines ever since. We currently have four of them.
How’s The New T300 Compared To The Old One?
Compared to the old version or the new generation, setting up the machine is much easier. Changing tools is much easier and our employees get on very well with the new generation.
Has Your Business Evolved With The Miller Machines?
We've had experience with the machines for six years now. Of course, there are always wearing parts. But we also get on very well with the machines. We are also a bit brave. We can unscrew and try out a lot of things ourselves. I'm the same kind of person, we try things out. If something breaks, I also tell my employees that we'll reorder it and be done with it. I can only repeat that we have had good experiences with the Miller machine.
Would You Recommend Miller Weldmaster?
I can recommend that. Without any thoughts, I can recommend that. We can serve more customers and we can do more volume and we save at least 10 to 15 Saturdays of overtime a year due to the speed of the machines. I also get on quite well with WDN, they respond quickly when we order something, if they have it in stock, we have the goods here within two to three days. If they don't have it in stock, then it comes from the USA. Otherwise it works quite well.
