If you give the retainer a tap with a hammer it comes loose alot easier.
    Good video 👍

Does the MIVEC system on the 6G75 MIVEC make this any more difficult, or is it basically the same proceedure?

Hi brother , I have pajero 3.8 gls 2008 model, facing issue engine consuming engine oil every 1000 km run, do you have any solution for this ?

Try liquimoli valve stem seal rejuvenator or replace the stem seals.
Have exact car and has exact problem.

      “ Had” exact problem.
But oil consumption has slowed significantly.
How ever still puffing smoke when beginning of accelerating. So I’m going to replace the stem seals and hydraulic lifters while I’m at it. Ticking noise at cold start until warm.
