I didn’t follow the exact recipe because my boys don’t do spicy very well but I still added jalapeños (eeeek) and it is DELICIOUS. It’s so difficult to find authentic Mexican cuisine in the Midwest (only see Texmex) and we aren’t a fan of it as much! So heavy! But this....this is a staple dish. Thank you!! So yum.

Another fantastic and easy meal. I cooked the beans in my pressure cooker with 9 cups water, 4 cloves garlic and half an onion for 30 on high. Perfection. Bless your heart. It took time for my little one to enjoy many dishes. I always tell him taste it, if you don't like it you can spit out LOL then I probe and ask what he didn't like. Texture is huge for him. Nutritional yeast has been a life saver as it has many vitamins that our babies lack when they are in their picky stage. He usually sprinkles it over popcorn. @@ccMomOfJays Hi, I grew mine from a packet of seeds. But I'm pretty sure you can use what you have. Just like tomatoes you should be able to place a slice of tomatillo directly on the soil. They are a prolific plant so if space is limited you might want to try a large pot. Have fun growing tomatillos. RUclips has videos. Veronica
