Great video of two great small kits. Short and sweet right to the point. I think they are different but both great sounding kits Would d love to have either one
The Premier kit is very hard to find now but is a very good kit......unlike most 16 inch bass drum kits it has full 16 lugs ....proper proportionally sized toms......and the snare drum is excellent unlike most snares that come with micro kits. I own this kit after a great deal of research......with an Aquarian super kick one the bass drum sounds superb.......this Birch kit is a blaster and perfect for the Bop I play......if you are lucky enough to find one of these kits Buy it !!! Very few in N America it seems.................
@@DrummerGrrrlyou clearly have bad ears. The Premier has a full and warm sounding bass drum and toms that would record well and sounds much bigger than it is. The Pearl sounds flat and has no warmth. Poor quality wood and construction, same with those toms that are more like bin lids.

I have one and I'm from N America and I got lucky because I got it used... excellent kit and better than any other comporable kit out there
Seems like americans are kinda jealous of european kits and vice versa

The Premier is very very best and superior than the Pearl, the birch shells sound much deep, resonant and crispy than the Pearl.

@@oskarfield8696damn good cardboard box then seeing as it's a much richer and fuller tone with definition and warmth, unlike the Pearl.
The Pearl is a toy compared to the all Birch Premier. No comparison.
PREMIER....the Pearl sounds like a toy kit.
