If you feel like modding it, see if you can remove the handle and replace it with a Japanese Wa style handle (you have find them premade in a huge range of materials and prices).
Can you wrap the handle with something to beef it up? Also reminds me of a knife you purchased from Amazon, a chef’s knife you liked, do you remember the name of that one and do you still recommend it?
@@JohnKlahr It's a lovely blade so if the main objection is the handle then after resolving that you'll have the ideal RV kitchen knife for years to come :D
Looks like a small tomato slicer/ dicer. Good to know that it is small. My hands are 2XL. So large knives are preferred. My wife left me a drawer of RADAs for meal prep, yet some paring knives are to small. So some Bucks have been fit into my kitchen use.
Yeah, I definitely think I wouldn’t enjoy having this one in my kitchen. Thanks for the review!
Thanks for checking out the video
Thank You! I also have XL grippers and a dainty handle is a deal breaker for me. 👍😁
Thanks for the video John
Brother Andrew is quite comical. That German kitchen knife is quite awesome. It's nice and sharp. I think it's going to grow on you
Vee will see!

Something to consider, thanks for the tip

Yes, it was a Mercer, great knife. I’m just not sure where I put it. I’ve been looking for my buck 117 for a couple days now also
Looks like a job for a Paracord wrap on that handle - or send it to me if you'd like an XL handle in cherry burl, with a nice horn collar ;D
I think I still have some brown canvis Micarta that would work well
