The show was originally cancelled and it was never past 1979. Some months later, ABC uncancelled it and playing for only three episodes to replace the rather iconic Charlie's Angels in the timeslot, before getting its worse cancellation and Eight is Enough is to replace it in this timeslot.
No he stars in yet another version of "cop drama", as seen on south park. The only great thing he ever starred in (and it was TRULY great) was summer school. The movie that originally did the Bill and Ted/Wayne and Garth kind of characters well. And got no recognition for paving the way for those characters just a couple of years later.

loved this show as a kid,kinda like Emergency years before it,loved that one to,as a kid the vehicles were the facination.
I loved that they had a female helicopter pilot.

They treated this intro so badly. Think of the six million dollar man, Dallas, dynasty, those shows prospered largely on their intros.
