I think people are forgetting that while some of these level 5 plants are extremely broken, most of them are legendary plants, which means leveling them up is extremely painful. Plants like Flaming Flower Queen's Level 5 Ability is insanely powerful but I rarely see it being used in level 5 because it's extremely difficult to upgrade. International Plants like Turkey-Pult and Zoybean Pod are also hard to level up in 2C, same case with Gorgon Pitcher (since this plant is practically useless in most Endgame 2C content in level 1). They still do care about balancing, at least better than International PvZ2.
leveling format lvl 1: lvl 1 lvl 2: x% chance to do something else / can do something else lvl 3: lvl 2 but more lvl 4: pf on placement % lvl 5: thermal nuclear bomb

Like for example , pea shooter (and ice pea...and maybe repeater but that one i forgot) got buffed costume wise , and twin sunflower now also has a level 5 , i feel like thise changes are worth mentioning somewhere
okay but starfruit's extremely satisfying costumed plant food really makes you wonder why it's not in international, i mean the pf animation literally looks like he's spinning
Something I really admire about the chinese version is that this game actually feels like a game. They embrace overpowered mechanics insterad of balancing them, which makes it so much fun. Of course the abundance of content is good but it just feels so nice to watch obnoxiously overpowered plants that arent Pokra lol. I wouldn't be surprised if the zombie health and damage scales like this too, but at least it raises the stakes of battle instead of feeling one sided
The tile turnip thing where it goes into the negatives and lope back to 0, reminds of a glitch in a crash game where the developer never thought no one would jump 1000 times atop something you basically finished the game if you did it, same thing here!
if tile turnip did get leveling, i'd imagine the level 4 would make so when a tile is placed, there's a chance for all plants on a turnip tile to be plant food'd, which potentially sounds nuts.

I feel like level 4's should be different for plants with bad plant food but still keep it for the good ones. Honestly the costumes or level 5 are my favorite because they just change the plant, the best Lvl 5 in the video is 100% infinut, I really like the coming back stronger

Level 3: the chance of firing that projectile goes up
