@Emily-k9t7k You see Emily, as a non-Arab Muslim, I can tell you that the levels of unspoken cultural freedom are different in every Arab country out of the 22 Arab countries there are. Some Arab and non-Arab Muslim countries are freer than the others. Lebanon is an example of several sub-cultures such as Muslim, Christian, and Druze co-existing in the same physical space and these Christian Arab girls show that.

They were Vegas ready the minute they stepped on the stage! Every appearance was a step up, and even their return a couple of seasons later went way beyond everything they had done before! They took already beautiful Arabian dance and dialed it up to 12!
That's what I was thinking when I first saw this....heading to Vegas.

In 2017 on AGT they actually won the competition and you should check out the rest of their videos they were really good the chances were different also
Not taking anything away from these talented, hardworking dancers and choreographer but this particular type of dance has its roots from China and maybe Thailand though I much prefer this latest incarnation. The Chinese version for some reason freaks me out.

@christopherromina5445 The Chinese version is called The Thousand Hands Bodhisattva Dance. You can do a search engine on its religious origins. No one is disputing that belly dancing comes from the middle east, but the multi-hands thingy done in this particular way doesn't seem original. I must admit however there is an Egyptian Pharaonic version of this so maybe it did originate from the middle east.

What does you objectifying them and thinking they didn’t have to learn and practice(creepy to make women mythical like that and insulting to hard work) have to do with them being a good dance squad of G-d? Don’t bring your lust into conversation with them the holy and stop acting like it’s that hard to learn how to say nothing or leave regular compliments for women..I mean the title clearly disrespected their intent and culture but you all all don’t have to join in like they dance so guys will be enchanted and stereotypical about them like they’re not complex humans dancing for themselves and their culture ..but women say this constantly and then get dismissed like we don’t know anything and just have to be honored so whatever. This title is actually disrespectful to these wonderful dancers and their choreographer.
With the title I was expecting a seductive belly dance - as that is native to that part of the world. This is a totally different dance; and getting that many dancers to coordinate it so well - takes tons of work and practice.
@saliker4491yes it's open in a sense that it's tolerant of other religions perhaps and they do have a social climate however they are still Muslims and most definitely wasn't going to come on here disrespecting Islam in that way .. besides they still have a sectarian segment of government that still follows Sunni and they like .. however Lebanon is definitely not Saudi or Iran .. women have a bit more rights and visibility..

Even in Lebanon (and most of the Arab world) the differences and more so the privileges conferred to males have made women's lives miserable. And many people in the world see Muslim women as oppressed and having no artistic expression.

I'm sorry, but there are pretty and average and then unattractive people. I'd say the pretty ones are maybe 5-10% of the population and maybe 1% or less are super-attractive..most people are ordinary...say 50%....30% are unattractive and 20% should never procreate. I'd love it if 100% of the human population was beautiful, but stupidity, religion, crazy people keep breeding like rabbits.
