Actually, turtles are incapable of vomiting. The have special spines in their throat facing downwards so that the jelly fish, apon being eaten, slide down the throat over the spines. Due to them being underwater, the direction of the waters flow can change, which would make the jelly wash out of the turtles mouth. Thats when the spines kick in. The spines jab into the jelly, snagging it, and preventing it from slideing out their throat. This means that turtles cannot vomit, as any food would get caught on the spines. Thats why plastic pollution is particularly dangerous for turtles, because once they eat it they have no way to get it out of their system. Great song nonetheless :)))

Turtles swallow a lot of water with their food, so they have rear facing barbs lining their throat. The barbs keep solids down and allow the turtle to push the water back up. They can gag, just not truly vomit. That's why plastic kills them. Fills them up with stuff they can't digest, like feeding someone dirt and rocks
