Yayyy... so excited as we FINALLY have family visiting us in Portugal! We show some of their journey with some frugal travel tips. We also take the opportunity to have a chat with the lovely Victor Ferreira from Leiria Silver Coast Transfers. Normally we wouldn't use a transfer service as would take a bus such as Rede Expressos or Flixbus to collect people... unfortunately the arrival was late at night so no buses. We considered booking 1 night in Lisbon but decided it would be better to get them straight back to Nazaré as soon as possible for a good night's sleep! We really hope you enjoy meeting some of our family, and there will be at least another 7 mid week videos, where we share their experiences as first time visitors to Portugal AND as always, practical information and prices 😁😀 ~ Mandy
@@tommyjames789 Thank you for your feedback. As per our channel name, we struggle along with the equipment that we have, and that we can carry, which is a GoPro 9 without a mic, and an old Asus laptop which can't get the internet anymore. I understand that will deter some viewers, but other viewers will watch for the practical information and prices. ~ Mandy

Boa tarde Team MandyLee! Kinda surprised to watch a midweek upload as it's pretty unusual. Living far away from our friends and family isn't easy so I'm genuinely happy that they came to visit you in Portugal. Hope you all had a fantastic time together. Catch you on ur next upload, mind urselves 😉
Boa tarde, SERGIO! I know it's pretty unusual for us to have a mid week upload... it was actually Lee's idea as he wasn't that into the idea of showing our family summer holiday vlogs in November 😉🤣 I put a post on our YT Community page to let viewers know that there will be mid week videos with Ma and Gazza running in conjunction with our Saturday morning videos continuing on the journey from Évora to Faro and back to the Silver Coast. I hope it's not too confusing time wise but it's going to be great to share our experiences with everyone! Yes, it's difficult being away from family, especially when they're on the other side of the world. It was hard considering we'd made plans to meet in Europe in 2020 and then to go back to New Zealand in December 2021, but it was wonderful being able to introduce them to my favourite country in the world... and to know they loved it here! I hope you enjoy the future videos, and that you have a great week! ~ Mandy 😀😁
@@FrugalTravellers Hi Mandy, did They love it enough to make a "permanent move" to Portugal? 😉 Any country has its pros and cons, but Europe as a continent as so much to offer.
