Wanna have some fun? Find the Spanish dub of this ep. Generally, most of the voice work is deadpan, which is funny on its own, and I swear, Megatron sounds just like as if Rik Thomas himself learned Spanish. But in this ep: Lazerbeak actually talks at the 6:23 mark (translates to "You want me to do it by myself?); Spike says something funnier to Ravage, who they call "Destructor" in Spanish at the 19:27 mark (translates to "Destructor, I'm going to destroy you!"); Instead of "Our leader's back!" you hear "Gracias a Dios!" ("Thank God!")!
It's ridiculous how easily the Autobots were permanently killed by one or two laser hits in Transformers: The Movie, when in the series they survive much worse hits in every episode with minimal damage. I was so amazed and sad by it as a child. For example, Brawn died from being hit in the shoulder, despite being such a powerful character..😮
Yet Prime here was disabled by a computer blowing up and a few laser hits. In the movie, he takes 100+ hits from the Decepticons, offed 6+ Decepticons and grievously injured several more, and was able stay alive enough to kill Megatron even though he took several fusion cannon blasts *straight into his insides* ..... Considering Prime himself, Megatron, Starscream, Grimlock, Scavenger, and Galvatron all 1-shot kill at least one opponent in the film, this shows Prime had REMARKABLE endurance.....

I always like how even Galvatron acknowledged “Prime’s courage” in the movie.
Whew, I’m glad the Matrix didn’t fall out after Prime got smoked by Laserbeak. We almost had an “arise Ratcheus Prime” moment
Prime can't die until he removes his matrix
It's amazing for a children's cartoon how much thought went into the different battle strategies shown.
The really don't make characters in children's shows this smart anymore.
When I saw Megatron trick the autobots to walk into acid rain, I had the biggest smile on my face.
Scenes like this show why megatron is the leader, and not starscream.
Not only was this show interesting....it was smart too.
I enjoyed the hell out of this but there’s nothing smart about it. Lol if anything the zany stupidity is what makes it fun.
Totally. It was well smarter than a kid could think. So great. In fact I thought acid rain was a thing to be afraid of and possibly use to my advantage against my body enemies haha
Keep telling yourself that, champ.
It had it's fair share of dumb moments but also smart ones, kid shows in general became stale and don't actually make compelling stories nowadays.
I mean, the show would have ended here had megatron not actively prevented Starscream from ending it at every opportunity.
Sideswipe's transformation is so cool.
1 of my fave Autobots
Bumblebee: what happened to you prime?
Optimus: what do you think happened to me? I got my chassis handed to me by The Seekers
Fun fact: Cybertron is still composed of golden metal. At some point a massive explosion knocked the planet out of its orbit around Alpha Centauri and set it drifting through interstellar space, resulting in the grey lifeless appearance seen here.
I really need to talk to my boss about getting laser rifles on the construction site.
Acid rain, nuclear Cold War, and Fruit Roll Ups....ah the 80s.
back in the day when they knew how to make awesome cartoons. TF g1 fan for life.
What about the clone wars?
In the last episode, Ravage was bigger than a door and could easily hold Chip and his wheelchair in his mouth but in this one, he's smaller than Spike and more like the size of a big dog XD
19:28
Can we talk about how fucking good the G1 Soundtrack is?
Whatever the plot and animation issues it has, the music and voice acting have kept this show a timeless classic.
13:47 imagine if those 3 background characters who appear in a single episode get their own names, backstories, and toys
@@DarkAlex1978 well actually the yellow one isn’t substorm but I think it’s nova storm and the blue one is ion storm
They did get the toys. They came together as a set. Think it was in 2020.
@@MotoroidARFC woooosh
My all time favorite cartoon since the 80's. Didn't think about it then, but...how is Chip on cybertron without a spacesuit 🤔😂
They have "clouds" so probably Cybetron could have atmosphere. Later there is some revelation why it could have, but if you didn't watched it would be a spoiler for you.
When they moved on too Rodimus Prime, grown Spike has on a space suit😂
@@DblA7023 Cybertron clearly does have a breathable atmosphere because we see several humans breathing on it. Maybe he was wearing the exosuit because it was pretty much his military uniform. By extension, Quintessa has a breathable atmosphere, so the Quintessons are clearly aerobic or facultative anaerobic organisms. But even then, Judge Deliberata also survives outside of an atmosphere, making them facultative anaerobes. Why does Quintessa have an atmosphere? Possibly because multiple Quintesson creations are aerobic.
The better question is how is Chip not being affected by the acid rain, yet the Autobots are feeling the brunt of it?
I know Jazz was like, "Give me back my gun son!"
Thanks for uploading this episodes, i missed the good old days as a kid...🙂
Huffer Is the original Rattrap!
Lol!!
You've got to admit, he packed a good punch at 19:10.
he could be his Uncle
Heck rattrap talk about his aunt rcee.
Lol.. your right
Spike's scream when Ravage pounced 😭
15:28 this is the first time Megatron and Starscream have agreed on anything!!!
i love the transforming sound
Yeah so cool. Was disappointed it wasn’t in the movies
Me too
@@ericfisher1203
Aside from that one time in the first movie.
That NEVER gets old
Love seeing the Shockwave error at 20:28
It's strange to me but Prime took more damage in this episode from blasts than he did from blasts in the 1986 movie but he still survived in this episode.
The power of selling toys
He had Ratchet and Wheeljack, as well as Sparkplug working on him.
@@BrotherDerrick3X I agree. Perceptor is a scientist. Not a mechanic or a doctor.
It still doesn't explain the Autobots matrix of leadership they should have brung that up if it was so important
Because they certainly made a big deal out of it after the movie
That's because it's Hasbro who killed Optimus in the movie.
I'm surprised that Chip is immune to acid
Quantum physics?
Or one tough cookie
Many things surprised me in this episode. The breathable atmosphere on Cybertron. The vaporisation of the 'rain-makers' by a couple of blasts from Bluestreak. The fact that the spacebridge seems to activate just by driving into it. Shockwave spending hours removing a bit of glue.
@@SuperMookles
MALAYSIA Rat Glue, the most sticky glue can stick for years. A damn brand name literally names after the most idiotic greedy Malay government with brain cells made of lies and rotten nasi lemak. Perfect for sticking onto Elephant, Rhino, T-Rex, John Cena ads, Chuck Norris, etc. Weakness, American Mineral Water aka Fossil Fuel.
Who would have thought there was air on cybertron plus could have just ran back in the in the work shop.
I gotta say, I like “Spark” better than “Laser core” as a term.
If they just dropped all that mystical/quasi religious gibberish. Still not overly fond of the term 'Spark' either.
They loved just smashing sci-fi words together. Quantum carburetor, electro pulse and such.
@@minicle426 Agreed. Transformers feels more like dungeons and dragons than a Sci fi robot show now. And hey, cars and trucks are typically made of components from multiple different manufacturers, maybe Laser Core is the brand name, lol.
@@minicle426 honestly, transformers are still a civilization, and it makes sense for civilization to have more mytholgical views on idea of essence of life and this what makes them alive

8:51 Ironhide is like "Shut up, Huffer!"
21:32
I need to see Optimus with laser eyes more often
Sherlock holmes with floppy disks LOL LOL 😆 😂 LOVE IT !!!!
Starscream got so cold from That nitrogen blast from ironhide that he turned blue and became Thundercracker!!! 😂
Had this episode on tape as a kid. Watched it a million times!
If only there was a place they could shelter from the acid rain... like a garage or workshop...
Yeah when I saw that I kicked myself for not thinking about that when I was younger they could have went inside that garage and be protected 😂
Well, to be fair, taking shelter would have cost them-and Optimus Prime-valuable time.
HAPPY 40TH ANNIVERSARY "TRANSFORMERS GENERATION ONE" (SEPTEMBER 17, 1984) (R.I.P. to all those who gave us all these amazing characters just like the actors)
3:27 I legitimately want to know what caused this error
No voice filter. Same thing happened in a prior episode where they forgot to use Soundwave's and he instead sounded like Dr. Claw
These things happened quite a bit back then
Mainly cartoons were more about selling toys or teaching kids a lesson
They didn't really care about consistency unless it was for a product
Bro imagine if laserbeak was the one who killed off optimus also ironic how the decepticons unintentionally saved optimus
Optimus Prime wouldn't die until they discontinued his toy...
@@Davethe3rd they never planned to kill him off for good. the series just ran out of steam first.
Even though he's already been nerfed, Chip is still too OP.
like the starscream said"retreat&take our leader for repair"
I remember this episode when I was 6 yrs old - it was a Saturday 11.00/11.30am
Same. I think i recorded the audio on my cassette player.
@@nsxt290 A cold beer by the old years pal! :)
@@ManuelJordan317 hopefully pink coloured like Megatron's"a toast" energon cubes.
@@nsxt290 I remember the episode where all the Decepticons were drunk! LOL
Same here
it will never not be funny to me how old cartoon characters in cartoon action series perfectly miss every shot. EVERY SHOT. It's 65 episodes of them missing each other until the movie.
I guess it's hard to write action sequences when guns exist.
How I miss the original Battlestar Galactica laser sounds as well as the star wars ones here and there in this series...
Optimus here Survives despite being shot multiple times by Null Rays, Missiles, hugging an explosion and having laserbeak explode him from within with his bare chest exposed.
Optimus in 1986: Dies to a stone, Fist fight, and a Tiny Pew Pew Pistol
and a "hot rod" of a distraction...
by that time he had lost his plot...ARMOR
Plus Obi wan left his lightsaber at autobot city for some reason
@@magnusdiridian plus Ratchet and Wheeljack were dead in the movie.
and 50+ point blank hits from the Decepticons while he was running them down....
Pure nostalgia high.
Ah yes, prime's original catchphrase "transform and meet me there"
I love how Starscream got miscoloured as Thundercracker
Miscolour me? NEVAH!
0:55 And don't worry, we swear we won't kill each other as soon as the decepticons are defeated...
13:27 man i love Ironhide a true warrior
I cant get over "Hold on to your teeth" why would he say that...
Dentures lol
Decepticons knew Wheeljack's lab location...
I wonder why they didn't ransacked the place...
Optimus Prime would have died because of missing parts.
They probaly thought wheeljack.would never return
It was locked in such a way that only a disabled human could open it. 😂
they had an entire planet of cool stuff to play with. not high on the list I guess
could be all the ones who knew about it were in stasis lock for 4 million years, also.
The three colored Decepticon seekers on Cybertron were called Rainmakers, capable of making acid rain as a biological weapon.
Sun Storm, Acid Storm & Nova Storm iirc
