Only in speaking English is Anette better than Tarja. Third: I cannot judge definitely Tarjas Solo album. I hear only one song and a lot of samples. But it will be something different than Nightwish music. But better she do a wrong step than standstill.
I still say it's fine, because like I said before, does Metallica stop playing songs cause they had Cliff or Jason on bass when they were written. Alot of Bands when they change singers keep there older songs cause it is what they are known for. If they didn't there concerts would be less than 90 minutes and only the DPP album.

To me, there is comparison between the new and the old NW...For example, I first hear "Amaranth" and "Bye bye beautiful" with Annete and then I put this clip with Tarja,which is so touching and relaxing...And then I realise that TARJA IS JUST WONDERFUL and it's a pitty she left the band...I don't like the new NW because they lost their initial style...That's my opinion...

Maybe Anette have more energy if you refer of this yeeheehh screams live. But she have not the power, magic of her predecessor. The male members could have done a better choice. But maybe they have fear of a strong (good singing)woman.

On the contrary she did, If you can understand the interview she gave after the firing, she does admit to saying that but then reiterates the fact that anyone in the band could have said that. It's a matter that I think could have been solved more maturely but I do think that an overall right decision of firing her was the right thing to do, despite it being immaturaley handled. The band should have been a little more upfront with her than a letter.

She wouldn't be Tarja anyway. Nighwish wouldn't be the same whoever they hired. I have accepted that. Now, if Anette could learn to sing opera style in the higher notes it would be perfect.
