Aintree Green Land Rover Defender V8 90 Station Wagon - CERTIFIED - Walk Around

The favoured colour combination of the Royal family for decades. What could be more British than a green over tan Defender 90?! This is an incredibly special vehicle, built to our exacting standards and fitted with the incredible LS3 petrol V8 engine boasts amazing performance with looks to match.
Whilst the factory Aintree green paint sparkles in the sunlight, the sumptuous interior is beautifully finished in hand-finished leather boasting contrasting stitch detailing and square quilting to the Recaro seats. This Defender really fits in everywhere it goes and looks as at home when parked up picnicking outside Royal Ascot as it does when loaded up with camping gear exploring the highlands of Scotland.
As you would expect from any Twisted vehicle we have started from the ground up. The chassis has been specially coated to increase its lifespan and the handling has been dramatically improved with a full air suspension installation giving fully adjustable ride height, self levelling and delivering a supremely engaging drive. Alongside this, our 18” classic wheel finished in black with BF Goodrich tyre combination provides both incredible on and off-road control but also enhances the styling in a subtle and non audacious way that only we at Twisted can.
Naturally one of the biggest additions to this Defender is the 6.2 litre LS3 V8 engine paired with a silky smooth 6 speed automatic transmission with manual selection when required. It provides around 430 horsepower and delivers infinite smiles per gallon. Sophisticated enough to drive around the town in an understated manner but endless power and torque when required and nothing quite beats that V8 burble through the tailored stainless exhaust.
The exterior has been enhanced with our usual attention and benefits from all LED lighting including a roll hoop mounted light bar giving superb visibility even on the darkest of country roads. One of the most unique upgrades specified on this build were the deployable side steps. These are tucked neatly out of the way when not required and then as soon as you open the door they drop down and provide the perfect step height for entry. When the door closes they simply retract back to their stored position.
Moving inside the Defender it has been fully stripped, our unrivalled soundproofing installed and recarpeted to provide a level of refinement usually unheard of in a Defender. On top of this our Recaro heated seats are in position and offer a fantastic level of comfort. The side bolster is low enough not to restrict access yet gives great support to hips and legs. With bases that are removable to allow access to the battery and jack we believe there is no more comfortable seating option. A double DIN head unit conversion allows modern technologies such as Apple CarPlay, DAB radio and reversing camera, meaning your favourite driving music is only a touch away. The Twisted by MotaLita steering wheel completes the look and with the added benefit of cruise control this truly is any driver’s dream Defender.
The loadspace has not been forgotten and begins with a full length storage drawer with a Linexed false floor above. It has further storage cages fitted to both sides so everything can be perfectly kept in place. The soundproofing and leather has not been forgotten here either and boasts beautifully trimmed sliding window surrounds and rear door card. It truly is a special Defender
