In my time practicing, I found that watching for the exact moment he lets the opponent go is the moment to hit Your Air Dash Micro and hit the A. (While using the A+B Button sometimes makes following J.A or J.B abit wonky, Its the best way to constantly get the air dash out in time and not whiff) Also, while normally im against mashing and rather get the timing, Its also best to note that Mashing B is your best bet to landing 5BBB in time to properly combo. I'm having trouble with the combo at the beginning, after connecting jump AC. Opponent recovers by the time I can pull off the air-dash. I've tried doing it as early as I can, but still no luck. Any tips? Thanks
Wait to dash until you almost hit the ground and make sure you are doing j.AC as early as possible. You want to be rising so you have time to air dash before you land

Adachi doesn’t float nearly as long for that combo in the beginning to work. Also, his Cross Slash pushes them too far for you to combo off of it. So either they patched it or this video is fake.
Yes I spent time to fake combos to help the community out. It was either patched or you are having trouble executing. If you tell me which timestamp of the combo that's confusing you I'm willing to help out
CharminUltra I did the startup for the first combo that’s at the beginning exactly as it’s shown and Adachi literally just plummets to the ground. Regular Aerial Dash doesn’t work and binding it to a button only causes him to swing his B attack.
You need to manually air dash as hes falling down the timing is not easy but it works. Make sure for the cross slash combo you counter hit them and your close when you do cross slash. Consider that a burst punish
the IADs frickin suck in this game. When I try doing the first one I DO get the jC into airdash but then, even if the game reads my jA it reads only my jC. the hell?!
@@CharminUltra I did some experimenting with practicing trying to IAD out of a j.C. Either Adachi hits the ground before I can possibly IAD or he actually does it, but far too low and late to follow up with j.A for it to be blocked by Ground Ukemi. The timing must be laser precise :/
Is the gameplay in this game like P4A or is it more like what you'd find in street fighter? I've always wanted a P4A on the switch, so if this plays like it, then I'll get it for sure.
This is PS4 speech :), to explain it, the numbers are direction inputs. They are based on a keyboards numpad where 5 is neutral, 4 is back 2 down 8 is up etc. the A,B,C,D is the games buttons and shown in the tutorial. Default controls would have them as square, triangle, circle, X.

Whoever says the first combo dosent work clearly only spent 5 minutes trying it. You have to delay the air dash by alot for it to come out
So for colors, I see Joker, Roman, Hasta, and Terumi but I can't figure out that brown one
You probably already know by now I think the brown one your talking about is Akechi

I just did both the first combo and the CH cross slash combo. Both still work

Just be patient and don't rush you'll get used to the timing. If you're getting frustrated take a break and come back
is it just me, or just now, the Very First combo of the vid, the IAD > j.AC right after the first j.AC won't exevute properly
It won't even let me IAD right after the first aerial AC
