Yeah I think the Egyptian view on death is so different, that its hard to compare. Because they so strongly adopted the idea of eternal life, death was not viewed as it is in Christianity or in our modern context. Chaos and Evil, Chaos and Death are not exactly equatable, particularly as they seemed to see it. There are similarities and differences between the stories. But I think far more is similar than is different! Thanks for commenting and sharing your perspective. As always brother, love binds us all!
One must respect All the Gods for all they bring to our world as if it was not for their struggles and sacrifices we would not be able to live in such a beautiful world and have the divine birthrights with their gifts and protections to keep us safe and to guide us to live a harmonious life full of love and honour. Thank you to All the Gods who have gone before us and who fought for our ways of life to be preserved, thank you & God Bless All the Gods who protect us with their strength & Honourable, Amen xx
@OnTheMysteries if you only knew my story, I did not choose to be, I am cause I've awakened, we do share fractals of many deities but my main incarnation was Asar.

@@OnTheMysteries I find Egyptian history fascinating ever since I was 6 and had very vivid dreams and was before I even knew it was a country. There is no parental responsibility with any gods. It doesn't ring true. How can a god of order not have a god of kaos under control? Why does evil reign?
It's all about the cycle my friend. Without chaos, order cannot exist. Without order, chaos cannot. Welcome the great conundrum of duality. To the Egyptian mindset, chaos was a necessary element to bring about greater levels of order.
@OnTheMysteries The ancient Egyptians are known to be ethnocentric and xenophobic, and their gods-with the exception of Set-work only for the interest of the Egyptian people. Take Isis as the star Sirius for example, who, every month of July, causes the Flooding of the Nile river for the benefit of the Egyptian farmers; while at the same time causes drought and summer heat (Dog Days) on foreign lands which rely on fructifying rain. This is the month when Osiris was born and when his foreign counterpart, like Tammuz and Baal, died causing drought (go figure). Since they do not rely on rains, they associate it Set (whom the demonized) and foreign lands; calling it Nile in Heaven for foreign people (Hymn to the Aten). Horus, as the star Algol (Head of Medusa), gives blessings and good fortune to the Egyptian people, but outside of Egypt his star is notorious for being the unluckiest star in the sky, having a strong association with bloody violence, and is known under various names, e.g., raʾs al-ghūl (Arabic - Head of a Ghoul), Rōsh ha Sāṭān (Hebrew - Satan's Head), Caput Larvae (Latin - the Spectre's Head),Tseih She (Piled up Corpses), the Demon Star (English). They also identified Horus with two malefic planets, i.e., Mars and Saturn. As you may notice, ancient Egyptians consider anything bad for foreign people good for them.
Thanks for sharing your perspective on ancient astrology. I am quite certain all peoples throughout history have exhibited the exact traits you are giving to the Egyptians. As usual, things are more nuanced. I do know Egypt has had history of being insular, but there were also times of great toleration of foreign lands, of cooperation. So the truth is usually found in the middle, not at the extremes.
As if the Christian/judaic “god” didn’t do the same thing. It’s plain as day in the Old Testament and Torah (virtually the same) that their “deity” gave them permission to rape, murder, and kidnap. The god of the Old Testament is basically Moloch and it’s the god every Christian, Jew, and Zionist believe in and worship today. The same deity that the Elites pray to. Not Satan, not Lucifer as they are also borrowed from older religions.

It's interesting how chaos is turned against chaos. In Christianity's belief in resurrection we understand that Christ "trampled down death by death"
