Hello i'm trying to link the minimap to a camera on a third person character but it's not working, do you have any ideas how to make it work pls ? thanks !
@@YourSandbox nothing yet, i just added the map actor to my character by following your tutorials but since its a 3rd person the minimap is linked to the character mesh and not the camera, i'm trying to achieve a gta like minimap so when you move the camera the minimap rotate with it

I don't know if you know "black desert online". but I refer to this game because when you click on the big map, there is a line from the person to the destination and the character moves from point a to point b. it's possible ? and the map, can I put it in full screen instead of a square in the middle of the screen ? Unreal Engine 5.1
Question: How do you make the minimap widget to have a roadmap yellow line, constantly cheking and updating location in the widget from player to each edge and stay connected? really cool, a tutorial would be fantastic.
I have tutorials on each component u mentioned. They are split and u can find them on my channel. Just check. If not, I will group them to playlist :) thx for feedback
Thanks man this is pretty much what I was looking for. I'm having a problem in multiplayer though. The map works fine until someone joins. When that happens the mini map goes black but when you press the tab key for the big map the big map is black and the minimap texture comes back. Any pointers?
It’s not for multiplayer atm. I might do one, but for patreon due to circumstances, sorry. It’s needed to have replication logic added and some part should operate via server. Right now each player considered to be local one that means each stole control of map and position and other data is overwritten by each new player

It might be done with help of adjusting navMesh agent bounds. I will probably return to feature to add missing parts like zoom and so on
