Chanyeol is currently the lead of the military musical until his military discharge in September. Also, he voiced the lead character of SK's first audio cinema, and he sang the OST of the webtoon which the lead character was named after him. It's gonna be produced as a kdrama this year or early next year as well. AND he'll be releasing his solo album once discharged.

Baekhyun once told that he worries for Chanyeol a lot because “he has a tender heart” he tells about how innocent and emotional Chanyeol is and never wants to see him get hurt. Also now the members have the habit where they guard from his happy slaps, so you will see them catch his arm when he laughs😂
In school Chanyeol was part of the ferret club since he owned one which I think is the cutest thing😂
He also now has a new dog Zzar that is the cutest thing. He’s always having photo shoots with her and dressing her up and the most important thing is…she listens to him😂 I think Tobin stays with his mom now.
As for his rapping he actually wanted to sing in a band but the company told him he couldn’t, I even think they said his image didn’t match that but I could be wrong, so he had to change over to rap.

Apparently SM makes EXO as a mysterious group who does not appear in a lot of interviews, so that EXO can't express their "craziness ", A most of idols (even SM's older groups) in the industry think they are intimidating while they are just soft babies.It's not just about interviews n all , SM is/was super strict towards EXO , Chanyoel's biggest dream was write n produce for EXO ( exo's title track) sadly when he said that other members laughed and said ,"may be in 50 years" that's how SM treat EXO . Chanyoel was rejected by SM multiple times ,there are so many song that didn't saw light (there are few song SM let his song released with EXO)TBH ,Thankfully SM don't do this when they goes solo , they are more free here , that's why Suho , D.O, Chen , Lay write and produce a lot for themselves.Another thing , you might see that ," EXO have weak Rapline" but trust me it's not because rappers are weak , it's because they have less rappers ( it's a SM thing )
Anyway, Chanyoel now have Zzar because Toben don't listen to him , Zzar is literally a princess, such a obedient dog ,Chanyoel's family is most open among other EXO family, they have restaurant where there is a mini EXO museum,His sister was a well known news anchor (who exactly look lke him) his parent's are super supportive and fun . Chanyoel pretty much can do anything because of his competitive ass, he can't imagine losing in anything,
Most of EXO members were Ulzzang ,so almost all were super famous in school / clg .Chanyoel did a korean movie as male lead before military (The box , musical movie) did great , critics were praising left n right , he was in movie as male lead before but in Chinese movie. Anyway He will comeback very soon , and we will get a Chanyoel solo album.
The next is D.O , anothanother sweetheart of EXO , He is more well behaved , less hyper super sweet persona , Known as best idol actor in korea.

It's unfortunate that SM was so strict on EXO like that. They most likely missed out on really great songs that could have been self produced, written, etc. by the members. I'm glad they gave their solo work a lot more creative freedom!

He didn't try to find another outfit because the outfit he ordered (deadpool) was more than USD10k LOL! He won best costume the year before that incident. He wore Iron Man suit that cost more than USD15k. If I'm not mistaken, he ordered it from the person who originally made Iron Man suit. That's how competitive he is. Yeay, D.O. next!! My ult!

Happy virus chanyeol, my bias ♡ the man of many talents. Rapper, vocalist, composer, producer, actor, model, etc. Amazing right? A main rapper that is actually a great singer as well. He also do charity works and one of the best in giving fan service. Same with other EXO members, they are humble and never forgets to be thankful.
“What can he not do?” omg I still have this same question for years. This man can literally do anything as long as he puts his mind into it. He is so passionate and he always give his 100%. Not just plainly knowing those skills but actually excel and be expert.
To add, he is also PRADA’s brand ambassador. He even produced the bgm used by prada in one of their global campaign. He also promoted with Tommy Hilfiger wherein he was named as Vogue’s Best Dressed Man.
Currently, he is serving in the military and casted as a main lead in the military musical.

Chanyeol always surprises me. He’s super passionate about everything he tries. For real. He tries a sport, goes all in. His channel NNG ㄴㄴㄱ is all about him and his team doing whatever they want. And the part of him talking about not just being a good looking rapper is something he posted on his channel. The ment he made for his members is also there. He has released a video every 27th since he has been in the military on there as well.
He’s super passionate about music and his albums he made with Sehun and Gaeko (of Dynamic Duo) for EXO-SC are amazing. I can’t wait for him to get out of the military, release his solo, and continue his musical journey. And also to bring back his Sunday instalive DJ jams because that was always fun.
Oh and his parents and sister are super supportive and are the representative parents for EXO. Besides Suho’s dad, who is a professor, I think Chanyeol’s family is the most visible. His dad owns a cafe that has a stage for bands, so I think it’s in his genes and also why they were supportive of him learning all those instruments. Ah I love all the members.

that's why some people said EXO's raps are melodic (for the most part). but even so, not everyone can follow those raps. I, too, can't follow the rap parts in some of their songs such as Lightsaber, Monster, Forever, etc.
His rap is definitely very melodic. I loved listening to his flow in this guide and made me more interested! Looking forward to hearing more of the rap line tbh!

Chanyeol is an animal lover (he owned a ferret when he was young, and now he adopted another dog besides Toben named Zzar and she's the cutest little thing)
He's a soft-hearted giant who'd literally lay his 6'1 ass flat on the floor just to play with a plushie xD (cue that concert video.. exols will know haha)
He's thoughtful and appreciates the exo members a lot... (as you've seen) he buys them gifts (quite often), he gives them rides, he calls everyone up for a night out and drinks,... and although he doesn't show it much, he's an emotional fluff ball
He still takes vocal lessons (same vocal trainer along with sehun and baekhyun.. correct me if i'm wrong guys) this is from before he enlisted.. he can't leave the camp now :') but he's getting disharged in september~ ps. he prepared monthly videos (every 27th) so that exols won't miss him too much when he's serving

EXO is my very first and only favorite band in the entire industry. It doesn't matter how many more years pass, EXO were, are and will be Kings of K-POP, Kings of Vocals, Legends and Discoverers of the 3rd generation. EXO, even after 10 years of career, are the most popular, sought-after and highly paid SM group. Yes, because they are their best band in the history of the company. EXO is the only band with such a variety of high-quality music, choreography and visual effects.

(D.O. and Xiumin have been in military musicals too, but it was before it became this huge production like The Song Of Meissa).
That VCR that Chanyeol talked about? That's from December 31st 2019. That's the last day of concerts the guys had and you've seen clips from the aftermath in pretty much every guide (except Xiumin's since he and D.O. were in the military at the time, and Lay since he didn't participate in that tour either). Suho with red hair and blue background is from that time. Chanyeol posted the VCR on his RUclips Channel NNG and there are compilations of fancams with English subtitles if you'll ever want to watch the whole thing (I recommend waiting until you know the guys more though).
I bet people who worked with him is enamored with him! It's hard not to be, considering his amazing personality. 😊

Chanyeol's good at most things... even flourishing in the military. Extremely proud of him. I am not sure if he still has Toben as he and Toben um... didn't get along too well as Toben was very rebellious 😂😂😂 He could still have him and I not seen him. He does however have an adorable maltipoo named Zzar (For Mozart. Beethoven, Mozart... As for whether my feeling about DO or Kai becoming her bias, I really have no idea where that came from lmao D.O is very different from Chanyeol. Speaking of, D.O is next right? Yay! Okay so I feel I'm about to type out a novel so this is an alert about me going on and on again but I don't know any other way 😂
D.O. D.O. D.O lol What can I say about Kyungsoo without gushing for an hour? Even though I liked all the members of EXO when I first started checking them out, he was my least favorite because he comes off maybe kind of cold and very serious and sometimes can seem not nice which is the complete opposite of me but now I can't look at him without wanting to tear up lmao I have such a huge soft spot for him. Baekhyun is my bias with Kai almost neck and neck with Baekhyun but I always say aside from Baekhyun, the other 8 are my bias wreckers. D.O wrecks me often lmao D.O's vocals are my second favorite in EXO if I forced myself to rank. Plus once you get into EXO further, you begin to understand him more. He is purely in this for the art. The art of performing whether he's singing, dancing, acting etc, his love of performing is why he's doing this otherwise he'd most likely go be a farmer or a chef or take some path that's less chaotic and in a lot of ways, intrusive than the career he has now. Even though he's amazing at everything, he's so humble but what I admire about him the most is that he just lives his life the way he sees fit. He doesn't do what some idols may feel they're expected to do or expected to look a certain way (even though he's very very very very handsome lol) He also doesn't seem pressured by fans to do things he doesn't want to do. He likes the simple quiet life. That said, you can also tell he cares and loves his members a lot and loves being in EXO with them even though he can be a savage towards them when they get on his nerves or disturb his inner peace lmfao Still in most cases you can see his affection for them and laughs at them a lot. They may be goobers at times but they're his goobers 😂
He's so polite and respectful. I adore him and you can tell every single one of his members do too
As for his acting projects... good lord he's an incredible actor. I wouldn't be surprised if he won an Oscar one day if he's ever in a film that's nominated by the (close-minded) Academy. He's that good. I say that though but I just can't watch anything else he's in lmao I watched 'My Annoying Brother' and 'Swing Kids' (Swing Kids is free on RUclips btw 😀) I went into both of those films expecting something else and even though I was blown away by his acting, those movies ripped my heart out, ate it, spit it back out and then fed it to Jaws lmao I watched both with my sister who comes over every week for 'kpop faves' night but Swing Kids we had a friend and our mother who had stopped by to visit and we were a mess... Swing Kids (ugh that damn film made me a bottle of nerves the whole time LOL way too protective....even in fictional situations 😂) I still highly recommend watching both in your free time though lmao

I think a common misconception is that Toben is Chanyeol's dog, but Toben was originally introduced to us as the Park family pet (Toben spends the most time with Chanyeol's mother, who would even take him to her restaurant and let fans greet him, but Chanyeol's older sister also cares for him often)~ Chanyeol was the one to name him tho, and even carried his naming scheme with Toben (Beethoven) over to his new puppy Zzar (Mozart), who I think is Chanyeol's dog~ [Chanyeol's love of animals and want to interact with them is interesting cause he's said before that he's developed allergies; I assume he takes medication for it...]
Some more context for the Deadpool costume: Chanyeol's extreme passion for things doesn't let him go anything less than 100%. He already had a decent Deadpool costume from a previous year, but the year before the party he mentions he had won best costume because he came in a.... I don't know how to describe how *extra* this Iron Man costume was that he wore. You have to look up video! The only thing it apparently wouldn't do was let him sit^.^ But anyways~ The next year he wanted to do his Deadpool costume but more~ So, if I remember right, he literally got it custom made by the people that made the one for the movies! [P.S It did eventually arrive, and he wore it to his birthday party to show fans & then later allowed it and the Iron Man one to be displayed in his dad's cafe]
Some other things Chanyeol has thrown himself into, cause the guy is constantly getting hobbies and working on projects: gaming, basketball, working out, he overhauled/built most the stuff by hand in the NNG studio, cooking, stargazing, etc. On a reality show where they put a bunch of random celebrities in house together called Roommate, Chanyeol fixed a door in one of the girls' rooms, and he built a whole backyard deck-thing with help from some others~
A cute thing is Chanyeol has to literally run every big decision he makes through his mother, especially concerning money~ He had to get her approval for things like starting NNG and buying the studio space, buying the apartment building he bought, etc. Seems like the only thing he just surprises her with are his tattoos^.^ I just wonder how the conversation went when he bought the expensive Iron Man and Deadpool costumes...
