Love your channel! I’ve learned a lot. I did an LED niche like this but used a wired4signs aluminum profile at the back. So it provides a nice border for the tile and you can snap a waterproof diffuser over the led channel. Also wired it to a dimmer switch which I really like. Keep bringing the content!
One more time ... love this tile. I've seen on insta (I think) a guy that does miters on all edges. He uses resin to fill the miter gap which is easily tinted to match tile color. It makes a job look literally flawless. Have you ever worked with such a product Steve? And in general, can such (or any) textured tile be cut with score cutter? As long as it fits into the cutter size wise. It makes me think that chipping would be a problem. Or grinder/wet saw is the only way? 🤔
@@splanzza I do think this stuff will n particular would not cut nicely on a snapper. And yeah the epoxy resin deal seems like overkill to me but can elevate the look on some installations. I didn’t think it would make a difference for these tiles. Pretty much a ton more work for almost no reward
@@BathroomRemodelingTeachernice here in fl is super strict. Need a separate lic for plumbing, electrical, hvac, roofing and a gc or residential lic to do structural. You do great work btw
@@damonruiz5405 it is crazy down there and then look what it turns into 😆 selling unlicensed guys permits. Last time I looked it seemed you had to be worth a half mill to even get a gc license
As a resident of Northern California…I giggle at anyone who thinks they live in a restrictive state! Lol…there is no job above $499 that is legal without some type of license required. That’s any kind of work-painting, sheet rock, plumbing, etc. Pretty sure if you want to lay sod for over $499…you gotta have some license! Talk about restrictive!! Be happy you’re not in California no matter where you are! Haha

Great video - thank you! What is the tool you are using to vibrate the tiles?
Fantastic
Like the shower glass panel. What was your source?
Issac, hi , any chance for people get electrical shock during shower time ?
where would i be able to get those trim pieces you used for the exposed Tile edge and for the LED niche lighting?
I never thought of using thermostat wire for LED lighting. Interesting.
It what we have always ran at my companies. There’s nothing special that makes it t-stat wire. It comes in different gauges.

@@BathroomRemodelingTeacherUnderstand. Thanks a bunch! 👍
What powers the thermostat wire I'm wondering. I appreciate the response!
Just curious do you have multiple licenses ? Gc,plumbing lic and electrical license or does your state not require you to ?
Pennsylvania is still pretty free. No gc licensing. As a homeowner you can do all work with inspections 👍

Meaning if you charge a customer over $499, you have to have the license for whatever it is. If that wasn’t clear in above comment. 😉
Are the LEDs on 24/7 or did you connect a switch to that outlet?
Switch controlled outlet 👍
is that up to code where you are?
Really dude? Lol
what thinset?
What's that old saying " Those who CAN, do..... those who can't TEACH"?
I believe is that old saying.
One thing you can't have enough of in the shower, electric.
