I need to get into notion asap. Currently on chapter 8 of your book!! would love to see a video of your ministry dashboard in notion. I am fairly new to notion and would like to see other applications for ministry related tasks.
Great presentation, good to see your workflow. What's your thinking behind using Scrivener vs. Word or some other tool? Seems like a whole lot of power for a 2,311 word manuscript, or are you planning a book and getting it organized early?
Hey Bill, thanks for watching. So yes, Scrivener can do a lot more than what I’m using it for here. I’ve got a first draft of a book sitting in Scrivener and I always want my sermon series to be in a format that would be easy to make into a book if I wanted to. So I’ve just gotten into the habit of writing in Scrivener. I even write blog posts in it. Also, it’s a unique sort of satisfying to see the word count for a full series.

I have just started using Notion as well. It has SO many things that it can do. I have been trying to determine if this would be a help or a hinderance to sermon prep and just other things as a pastor. Can you share your Notion Template? Also, any other tips for how you use Notion would be appreciated. Thanks!
Hi Brandon, do you include all the templates for Notion and Evernote in the Advanced Preaching Bundle? Those templates would be helpful. Do you prep yor sermon in Notion now instead of Evernote? Please advise. Thanks!
Hi Kim, the bundle doesn’t currently have the Notion template. I’m still fine-tuning it. It has many worksheets and other documents included, though. I am SO close to migrating away from Evernote and completely to Notion. For sermon prep now, it will either be analog or with Notion.
